Sniper Detectors Coming to America's Heartland !

It is pretty cool. Why would we be sniping in the heartland?

It sounds like a suppressor would fool that if you were far away enough (200+ meters).

Would not a silencer foil the dection? I only ask this question because I am a writer not a shooter. One cannot have writing flaws. Actually, you can have writing flaws as most people don't recognize them. I just don't like them though.

If you are living in a city where it is common to not report gunfire, or near one house where gunfire is common, I'm not sure that 'snipers' are your tactical problem.
