my great grandma (pure Indian) feather not dot, walked the trail of tears to oaklahoma, then , when she saw it was just a holding pen, she walked BACK to TENESEE. there she built a tiny log cabin and met a cool german/french guy who helped her with the roof and married her. she raised 11 boys there, worked in the fields, broke horses,and was a seemstress. she lived till 103. i met her when i was little girl,
i thought she was my grandfather's friend because she still looked and acted so young. all the white women in my family
were basically trophy wifes that died in their60's& 70s of diseases that stem from laziness. so not dot, not immigrant,
