The Bible clearly teaches an eternal physical torment for those who reject Christ.
Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Now whether or not you BELIEVE it, that's another issue. However, the Bible is clear.

All people have sinned. To repent is to change. But the key here is what is a lie? For all people are liars! People who say GOD created hell are probably the worst, for they put fear into the heads of people.
THERE IS NO HELL! The hell concept undermines GOD's intellect.
By believing in eternal damnation you undermine GOD's omniscience, and GOD's overwhelming ability to forgive.
If anything there are different dimensions.
All people move onto their next dimension when they leave this one. People who have done horrendous things are probably parked in certain dimensions for intensive reflection.
People ascribe stupid human emotions like anger, vengeance & jealousy to GOD. Why, cause a man's words in an old book told them so.
This belittles GOD, for he/she/it is so much more than we can even imagine.
GOD is pure love and pure love does not create places like hell.
Revelations uses imagery to place fear into people's minds. Anyone who threatens hell on people even quoting the Bible have failed the test.
If you only do good, for fear of hell, are you really good?
Most people are good with small flaws. These will all be forgiven.
GOD IS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE!
God gave you a discerning mind. Use that discernment wisely, even in reading the Bible.
