There are a lot of coffee shops in Amsterdam, and if you're 18 or older, you can smoke as lot as you wish! Even on the streets in Amsterdam you can smoke. It's forbidden, however, police won't do anything. In amsterdam is the redlight district, a must see for every tourist! Also the museum of torture is really nice, a lot of clubs at rembrandtsplein and leidseplein, and of course, mushrooms (although forbidden you can get it in highlife shops) and so on! Cheers! |

So what happened to the new regulation? I honestly thought foreigners could no longer buy stuff. Or is it only in the southern cities near Belgium that foreigners are no longer welcome? |

Only in the southern provinces they are closing coffee shops because a lot of foreigners come to holland for their weed. TPTB want to introduce a weed-pass, but until that time you just can walk in any coffeeshop and get some juicy green hahaha. Don't worry. For all the other foreigners, just drive a little bit further, LOL. No worries! |

A nice shoppingstreet, near the central station is; spaarndammerstraat (also coffeeshops there) The nieuwmarkt is a nice square, with a lot of cosy bars, you can acces that via the central station via the; zeedijk, there you can eat really good asian food. |
