Which 486? I bought a 486dx2 50 MHZ in 1993 with 64MB ram & in think it came with a 250MB HD 5.25 inch floppy, I added a soundblaster CD rom Drive later and 3.5 inch floppy. It played wolfenstein well and doom. added a modem for america online internet. This one was faster than my 386 with math coprocessor.

Ohh the 486 DX2. I had one of those... Packard Bell if I remember right. Mine was pretty bad ass because it came with a cd-rom drive... which was rare back then.

But you couldn't help but love the 14.4 modem... and the boot up time... shewww... lightning fast at 5 minutes.
