I think that some of the people on this forum are getting a little ahead of themselves

Human beings have been "dominating" the world from their own inception, and this drive may be the inherent flaw that truly is the human downfall.

that being said, I find it doubtful that there is a group of wealthy individuals who identify themselves literally as "the illuminati", and intentionally try and make people stupid with mass market industries and unfair pockets of wealth... you know why?

because THAT HAPPENS ANYWAYS! Just like everyone else, rich people scratch one anothers backs. Just like you do when you went to college and got to know a guy in your class to get his notes, or any other situation where you can secure some sort of unfair 'leg up'. the only difference is that when rich people do it (and believe me, they do), it has very large scale effects. instead of getting answers on a test, they can colletively set the price of a certain commodoty, or build up a talentless shmucks celebrity status (your 'puppets'). But this is usually for their own benefit at that moment, and it is unrealistic to assume that there is some sort of institution that orchestrates these events.

You don't need an 'illuminati' to create the unfair distribution of wealth that exists in the world, because in a market economy it is inevitable. Industries and corporations with their own INDIVIDUAL sets of interests, funnel money into political campeigs and lobbying agendas so that they can give themselves an unfair leg up, and this is pretty well known. and when there is some sort of collective agenda, it is usually in the form of a conglomerate industrial group (an association of oil companies, for example), that accomplish the same goals collectively.


I know you were expecting a bunch of men in hooded robes who sacrafice infants in the name of our masonic forfathers, but that is severely overdramatizing the case at hand. You guys are thinking in the right direction, because even with what IS actually going on, it is extremely messed up, and needs to change. dont go chasing shadows though. present your argument in a straightfoward and self evident fashion without so many baseless conjectures. there are many sheep in this world, and in order to get them on your side you must not be one yourself (i.e, buying into a shadow government theory)

Well, they can't hide stuff anymore because people are on it like bees on honey. So, what do they do? They hide it in plain site by controlling people's perception of it.

Make it commonplace so no one thinks of it as hidden. Prohibition causes attraction to that which is hidden or prohibited. Now it's just everywhere. No one is gonna think it's weird anymore. It will just be a symbol of the successful and those that "dominate".

It's totally obvious though when you think about it. We start talking about all this stuff and then they just jump right on it.
