Single dad fights to reclaim his house from Occupy Wall Street protestors after they seize it for a homeless family
A New York man says Occupy Wall Street protestors went too far after occupying his own home where he and his two children lived.

Protestors took over a man's house in Brooklyn and presented it to a homeless family after they found it vacant and believed to have been foreclosed on by the bank.

'Foreclose on banks not people,' a large yellow sign read above the house after the group celebrated its capture, opening it to a fanfare celebration complete with balloons, a rally and ample press.

Re: Single dad fights to reclaim his house from Occupy Wall Street protestors after they seize it for a homeless family
'I'm trying to get my house back, and they're trying to take it from me,' he explained his frustration to the Post.

Since the group occupied Mr Ahadzi's house on December 6, they have made renovations from the basement up which included knocking down walls and moving his furniture downstairs.

They said they were preparing for the Carrasquillo family's move in.

Six weeks after taking it over though, the family is reported to only occasionally stay at the home.

A visiting Post reporter found more protestors inside among mattresses on the floor than residents.

This is really sad and crazy. I wonder why law enforcement can't stop them.

That's the mantra - "collectivism and communal property".
Expect more of this as people who are on the dole go thru neighborhoods picking out the houses they want to live in weather someone lives there or not.

why doesn't he just go to the cop shop and have them all charged with B&E, unlawful entry, vandalism and trespassing?

Because their higher ups (who planned OWS) don't want law enforcement involved.

Plus NY cops still have their heads up their asses after the ticket fixing scandal came to light...

I don't buy that.

I think the idiot has simply neglected to follow due process.

1) you go and file an affadavit and press charges
2)if the cops don't do their job you file a civil complaint and press criminal charges on the cops
3)you get 60 minutes, 20/20, Fox News, to do some investigative journalism; this is a big story, would sell news

I think he's an idiot, after he claims he is struggling to pay the mortgage and he rented an apartment, why didn't he rent the place out even at less than the mortgage just to recuce the negative income aspect adnd gain equity?
