Althoug I don't agree with all of his statement I believe there is much truth in it.I believe abortion is wrong on all levels.If a woman wants an abortion she should be fixed.That would eliminate all these stupid bitches that have multiple abortions and use it like birth control.

Does the universal law of karma (that you get back what you put out) not apply to women who have abortions? Should their deed be karma-exempt? You are acting as if a disabled child is a punishment, when we all know enough so-called 'disabled' children to know they are a true blessing and bring out our humanity in ways that surprise us. This law-maker is right in saying that abortion is a crime that is punished by God (if not by criminal law or the court of public opinion); however; he's wrong (as are you all) to infer that a disabled child is punishment. Given the choice between mothering a 'perfect' child or a 'disabled' one, I'd choose the latter one, hands down. Being granted the right to look after a child with special needs is a gift from God, a special responsibility that not everyone is up to the task for. The task is heavy but the reward is great, here and forever, just as all heavy tasks, well done, come with rewards. To love and care for someone who may not ever be able to return that love and care other than through a look or a gesture is a privilege we should all pray for.

The absurd thing is that if the same politician would rather use government force to legalize abortion pro abortion people wouldn't have a problem. Same thing goes for gay marriages if the state legalizes gay marriages it is ok versus prohibiting them.

These are all the sort of problems you get into when you want government to mandate behavioral choices. Government should exist to ensure no one violates your natural rights, period. Anything else just creates these kinds of problems.

I'm a christian and I'm pro-choice. A lot of anti-abortionists are simply women haters who conceal their agenda behind a phony faith. He's not only a woman hater but a disability hater too. Almost as dumb as some of these Imams who make dopey statements about women.

Aparently this asshat has never spent much time around people with disabilities. They are a chore sometimes, but most of the time they are a TRUE BLESSING. They keep your head on straight & help to remind you just how BLESSED you really are. A "punishment" I would gladly take on again....
