Was it not a woman who birthed you? I am sure a woman was there for you to raise you--orphan or not.

I've been hurt by women...I'm sure we all have. That's not the point.

I used to have hatred for my mother. Why? Because I was living without love and materialistically. I have been cheated on....but realize that these things happen because the world.

TRUE women=unconditional sacrifice and love.

There is a point in which the universe is Mother too, having begotten the existence of all things within it, from nothing.

Indeed, Universe=mother...God=Father..

And who gave birth to God?

I don't literally believe it, just figuratively speaking.

I believe God was there, always has always will. Inside of me forever, through life and death.

A very good post, and thanks for sharing it. Your taste tells a lot about you. So, I am honoured to write to a person like you.
But, I do have few points to mention here. You stated, 'there still are women who fit into the category'. Women of all kinds; virtuous or those who degrade themselves have existed since the biginning of time. It is not correct to say that in past there were women more honourable than present. The Bible too mentions prostitutes, adulteress on one hand and Virgin Marry and many female disciples of Jesus on the other. Today too the situation is the same with presence of all kinds of women.
You also wrote, "even if you see a woman degrade herself, love her". Jesus had said things like, "the fairest ornament, base of everything that is beautiful and good" for EVERY woman, and not just the 'honourable' ones. As per his teaching, every woman is the Fairest Ornament and deserves love and respect.

Well, but negligibly few number of men nowadays would follow such teachings, for chivalry is now dead and there are hardly any gentlemen left.

I suppose it is harder for men to respect women nowadays; easily making generalizations based on the media or news reports.

When I go to the store and I see those 'cosmopolitan' magazines--and a 17 year old girl on the cover and it says 'dirty sex secrets' it is hard to appreciate what *a lot* of young women strive to be like.

But that being said, yes, every women deserves love and respect. No matter what!!! You are completely right my friend.

In your reply to my earlier comment, you had mentioned seeing 'cosmopolitan' magazines where 17 year old girls talk of dirty sex secrets. I agree that happens, but then don't you read about many young boys too indulging in such conversations and talking about their secrets. It is all in your vision. It is up to you whether you decide to see such girls in magazines or wonderful women who dedicate themselves to God, their husbands and children. Secondly, women of all sorts have existed since the beginning. Bible has also mentioned many prostitutes, and women commiting adultery, but Jesus used the term, 'fairest gem' and 'source of all good on earth' for ALL women and not just the 'honourable' ones. This can be seen in the fact that minority section in any crime is constituted by women.
This is what I am trying to say. Women of all sorts have existed since the start, but men have degraded themselves to a great degree. Forget about chivalry, many would be unable to see women as living souls. It is rare to see a gentleman now.
I'm not trying to prove the superiority of any gender, but when I see around and see women getting punished for being 'physically weak by nature', I do experience hatred, and I must confess that I have been a misandrist for a long period in my life.

I never looked at it that way "It is all in your vision"--very true! You see what you WANT to see.

And don't get me wrong, I see wonderful, amazing things in certain and many women. But when I turn on mainstream media, or tv, or go out--it is hard not to make assumptions about the general idea of how to 'be' a woman nowadays.

As a young man, I have learned that being a gentleman is one of those rare attributes that women really, truly appreciate. It is a big confidence booster too.

Reply to your 'Reply to my earlier comment'- Yes, I understand that it could be hard for you not to make assumptions about women on seeing media, but then considering the media, and seeing men in crowded buses, roads, causing terror within four walls and outside, when alone or in groups, and hence, showing the 'dog' in them, it is harder for us to avoid making assumptions on what men are up to now. Women too hurt, I agree. Hurting and giving joy is part of being human. But, the level of terror a man can give, a woman can't. It is not for no reason that women are called 'fairest ornament' by Jesus.
But yes,'You see what you want to see' applies to me to, and that's why I tried hard and succeeded in changing myself from 'one who hates men' to 'one who believes in actions to improving what you can'. I do respect nice men now, and that's why I'm replying to one now.:)
