Pieces of Mars landed in Morocco
Scientists have confirmed that 15 pounds of meteorite from Mars fell in Morocco last July.
It is only the fifth time in history scientists have chemically confirmed Martian meteorites that people witnessed falling. The last shower that was found 'fresh' - and thus uncontaminated by Earth chemicals - was in 1962.

The rocks are incredibly valuable - 10 times more precious than gold - because no Mars rover or lander has yet returned Martian material to Earth. The only source for Martian rock is these showers.

What makes you think it came from mars?

How can they know for sure?

Did the mars rovers send accurate molecular structure of mars soil samples?

Just asking because those mars landers are the only things(officially) than humans have send out there...

What if it was a piece of nibiru? Or some debree it was carrying?

I dont know for sure how they know but im guessing they check chemical signatures in the stones, concentrations of certain levels and stuff.
The locals say they saw a big ball of fire from the sky and went to look for it, they are now selling small bits for around 700eu a gram :D best thing ever to hit them
