Vivid dream with message

The stain of the Universe

My brother and I were in my Manhattan apartment, standing in the bathroom. He was actually standing in the tub frantically trying to clean the shower tiles. He had a toothbrush in one hand, and a blue sponge in the other. But as he cleaned the soap scum and mildew, he smeared the grime from one area to another area. I had seen a green bottle of comet placed on the shelve, and suggested that he use it to clean the tiles.
“This is sure to erase the tough stains.” I had said this with a tone much like an infomercial.
Jimmy looked at the bottle with amazement. He began to pour it excessively on to the small bristles of the toothbrush. Then everything went in to slow motion as I stood there in the bathroom watching my brother continue his cleaning frenzy.
I began to hear a telepathic voice. It told me the following:
“You, Humans, are the stain of the Universe. You want to explore space, and in the process, you want to spread your stain from one area to the next, with no regard for other Beings and environments”
This voice then told me to look at the product that my brother was using. I instantly got what I was being told.
“Are you saying that a comet is coming to wipe us out?” I asked. “And, is this a natural occurrence, or something that is being planned by other entities who want to put an end to our civilization here on Earth?”
“Huh?” My brother stopped his cleaning and turned to look at me. “What are you talking about?” He stood there with a confused look on his face. The bottle of comet was facing down, spilling out its contents into the tub.
“I don’t know Junior. I was having a telepathic communication.” I responded. With that said, Jimmy returned to his cleaning.
I obviously did not like what this Being was telling me. To make Humans out as being a nuisance, a stain to the Universe, is a little offensive. We are not all that bad.
I wanted to continue the conversation, to learn more, but the voice was gone. Is this what 2012 has in store for us? I thought. If so, hopefully it will be quick and painless.
