I agree that silver is something real......but can you give us a scenario where the silver will not be of much value to a person......even with prices continuing to head higher?


There are no 100% sure things in this world.......so I think everything needs to be considered well in advance......to help us guide our actions.

If the shit is super bad, PMs may be useless for a time - as food and useful things may trump all else. I also have a very full pantry - heritage seeds, hand garden tools, camping / hunting / fishing gear. Camping is a great way to practice for hard times. Get to use all the equipment so you are not hindered when needed.

I am fairly negative about the world situation. I feel that the elites want to crash the whole worldwide fiat floating currency system based on the dollar............and bring in some type of trading unit which they have exclusive control over. They also want to destroy the USA and it's experiment with individual freedoms.

They have a history of creating bubbles in various places around the world and then crashing things.......and then gobbling things up at low prices.


Perhaps the huge derivative paper market in metals is their method of artificially suppressing prices long enough for them to gobble up as much physical as possible......prior to them pulling the plug.


After that they will probably instruct governments to make holding these metals illegal. They will then scapegoat the holders of PMs or paint them in a bad light......perhaps offering rewards to the desperate masses for turning in those who hold PMs.


In any case, silver might trade higher to a certain extent......but when they pull the plug......trading will just cease. The exchanges will be closed and there will be no way to determine a price. The coin shops will be closed because of the hordes roaming the streets and because they too cannot determine a price.


Most people will be looking for food, water, etc.


Civilized behavior can break down very quickly.....just look at some past examples such as New Orleans. The racial mix of this country will exacerbate things as well.


Best to head for an isolated area I guess. Perhaps covert some of your holdings into something lighter if you're on the move.... like diamonds. And as you said, food stock/water/etc. are essential.

If you can hold out while the dust settles, the PMs should be a great way to reestablish your wealth. But you may need to hide the fact you have any, depending on how things shake out. Our lead may me needed to protect our PMs. If enough sheep wake up early on and stack we may all be better off as more will protect true wealth and understand the fable that is fiat.
