Caliban. One of my favorite characters and I've always thought it sounded kind of cool. Plus, has anybody here ever come across a Caliban?

I like the name Lolita. But could never name a child that.

1. Because that name has somewhat of a reputation for promiscuous girls.

2. What if she's ugly? That would be like naming some ugly guy Adonis.

True. better Lola.
"Whatever Lola wants..........."
There ya go.

Adonis is only good for extremely rich guys with faint aristocratic connections. Probably Greek ones.

LOL.

But then there's Run Lola Run. She'd have to have orange hair and a neopunk style and be able to get her useless boyfriend 100000 DM in 20 minutes.

She is, however, a great, strong female character and the movie is more profound than it looks at first glance.

I thought it was a... crap, it's late... what's the term... mix-up of Cannibal.

But yes, Caliban is a severely unjustly treated figure in Shakespeare.

I'm back, btw.

Excellent name. Atempted rapist of Miranda, but still a memorable Shakespearean name. LOL. LOL. LOL.

Thanks.

Yes, he is. Nobody really likes Ariel, though. It's always caliban who is rememberred.

So he HAS acquired some dignity in later litarary life.

yep.
