LOL I was thinking Atticus for a boy, Lauren Olamina for a girl

I get Atticus. But Lauren Olamina? Where is that from? Sorry I don't get the reference.

LOL.

From "Parable of the Sower," by Octavia Butler, a personal favorite.

A second for a girl would be Katniss. I love strong female characters. So Scout would do, too, I s'pose, and Galadriel. Maybe Xena for a middle name. ;)

Funny I'm having a harder time thinking of stand-out boys' names which are unusual without being geeky. I certainly would not, for instance, want to burden a child of mine with a name like Frodo or Gandalf.

I looked up the name as you were posting.

Thanks. Beautiful name, BTW. Xena is awesome, as well.
I would also add Buffy to that, by way of tough girl names. Knew one as well once, too.

LOL.
