Fun picture to play with in Photoshop EXPERTS NEEDED

For those of you who don't own any photo altering softwares, I'll just leave you with this:

Someone will photoshop the earth in place of the moon and claim Nibiru is coming

I know what it its! to get a high res picture they have to take multiple shots but this created a blurred effect on the faster moving moon so they had to photo shop the double images out so the image looks like it should if you looked at it through a telescope.

just my thought on the matter.

I used photoshop and did not see anything interesting there is a binary star down on the bottom left but other than that the picture is just too low quality to get any real detail that can't be contributed to the low quality of the photo.

Photoshopping

Alex, you're correct that Photoshop was involved, though not perhaps for the reason you think. Cassini takes color pictures by snapping three sequential photos through red, green, and blue filters. In the time that separated the three frames, Dione moved, so if I did a simple color composite I would be able to make Titan look right, but not Dione; or Dione look right, but not Titan. So I aligned Dione, cut it out, and then aligned Titan, and then had to account for the missing bits of shadow where the bits of Dione had been in two of the three channels. Bump it up, lets see if we can figure this out? Notice the red and green "lights" at top and bottom?

More experts are needed to figure this one out. Stock NASA photo from APOD.

Guess everyone should hold the knowledge of the world in their hands eh? Better to educate than to be a dick ;) calm down... not everyone knows the process. Next time, calmly show them what is really going on and most people will be happy that you educated them.
