I enjoyed the book as well!

The book received both acclaim and criticism for its candor in dealing with such topics as reincarnation, meditation, mediumship (trance-channelling), and even unidentified flying objects.

Just pulled the book out and am going to give it a re-read.
I have that book around with me for over 20 years of moves and upheavals. I was lucky enough to meet Shirley while she filmed Mary Kay in the Peg.

Thanks for posting the doc, I'm going to watch it this afternoon, it's been a long time since I've seen it.
