Tons of dead birds I95 north in Maryland...
This afternoon I was on I 95 north near Laurel Maryland and there were tons of dead birds on the highway. I Just heard on the radio that the birds were killed when they landed on power lines!

Possibly a disease or some strong wind. Birds are fragile creatures.

They sit on the power lines by the hundreds here every afternoon near sunset. I've never seen any of them get killed doing it. Weren't there any fireworks to blame?

Yes they do think we're that dumb...Fireworks, power lines, flying into 16 wheelers - not sure why they can't just coordinate the lies & just make one excuse. This was about 10-15 minutes from me - wasn't really big news around here though.
