Paper towels work. Just make sure to pull the edges outside of the filter cup so you donīt end up with grains in your pot. |

2 layers of clean white cotton cloth (rinse out detergent or other residues in warm vinegar-water)
Donīt use panyhose, no.
Cheesecloth (but you donīt have any)
Paper towels are okay of they donīt fall apart. |

Sheesh, Cowboy Coffee!! Put water in a pan or pot, bring to boil, add coffee grounds right into the water, simmer very low for a few minutes (try not to boil), turn it off--donīt touch it for five minutes--all the grounds will sink to the bottom. Pour a cup, add whatever, drink, enjoy. You will find a few grounds at the bottom, try not to drink them or you will be up all night... :) Cowboy Coffee --Done it many times while camping. |

My mother used to use Kleenex for a coffee filter. It filtered out all the oils and the coffee was very clear. It tasted wonderful. |
