1000 Miles per Gallon Carburator

Update: added vapor carburator patent links below. There also is a recent fuel reformer technology developed by MIT that improves mileage by at least 30%, that's being suppressed.

It looks like we've had 1000 miles per gallon technology back in the 1970's. Of course the oil companies supressed it, backed by this stupid corporate gov't. If we had a gov't that really cares about the people, do you think that such supression would be possible? I don't think so! To this gov't we seem to be just a meal ticket, a source of their power, and they only care about who pays them the most for their political campaigns, not about what benefits the people. So it's now gov't of the corporations for the corporations. Not to mention that they turned us all into strawmen to back their bankruptcy.

BTW, the 100 mpg carburator is quite simple, it feeds the engine with gasoline VAPOR, but in order to do that you need to change valve timing (by changing the camshaft), as the second video shows.
Oh and I think that we really should try that Micronation, where no liewyers would be allowed in gov't and where we could enjoy the best technology without suppression.

________________________________________________
For more info you can google the Pogue carburetor,
Google carburetor, or "fuelvaporcar"

The Pogue problem being lead added to the gas stopped it from working but we don't have lead in the gas
today. And someone mentioned that nazi general ERWIN ROMMEL was quoted as saying the reason he lost the North Africa campaign was " the goddamn magic carburators the Americans were using". On top of the tanks engine compartment was a locked top with the quotation" property of Eaton Corp " nothing more than pogue carbs.rereleased during the war to the farm industry & the war effort. worked real well . After the war they were outlawed
again by uncle sam. Holly still owns the manufacturing rights. thanks for listening to a small history of how we are being screwed every day by our government.

And MIT fully tested a plasma fuel reformer and proved it gave conservatively 30% better fuel economy in cars and busses. They teamed up with Arvin Meritor (biggest auto subsystems supplier worldwide) to supply them to USA auto production lines. Then One Equity Partners (www.oneequity.com) bought out the division of Arvim Meritor (for like $310 million) that was going to supply them and they shut down its production, re-named the company and now it is sold off to still another company. After 2 re-sales of that division, they make other auto emissions products but no longer anything that makes much difference on fuel economy.

The people buying and selling oil commodities want this technology buried deep.

. Patents on vaporizing fuel

1937 U.S. Patent number #2,026,798
1937 U.S. Patent number #1,997,497
The famous Pogue vaporizer was tested by Ford Motor Company of Canada and the Winnepeg Motor Company in the 1930's. They reportedly hung a one-pint bottle of gas outside the hood, and drove 25.7 miles before it ran out. That's over 205 miles per gallon!

1943 U.S. Pat. No. #2,312,151
Crabtree et al teaches a vaporization system which includes a gas and air inlet port located in a vaporizing chamber and which includes a set of baffles for effecting a mixture of the air and vapor within the tank. [link to www.google.de]

1965 U.S. Pat. Nos. #3,221,724
1965 U.S. Pat. Nos. #3,001,519 The Wentworth and Hietrich also teach vapor recovery systems which utilize filters of charcoal granules or the like.

1974 U.S. Pat. No. #4,011,847
The Fortino teaches a fuel supply system wherein the gasoline is vaporized primarily by atmospheric air which is released below the level of the gasoline.

1975 U.S. Pat. No. #3,888,223
The Mondt also discloses an evaporative control canister 48 for improving cold start operation and emissions.

1977 U.S. Pat. No. #3,713,429
The Dwyre uses, in addition to the normal fuel tank and carburetor, an auxiliary tank having a chamber at the bottom thereof which is designed to receive coolant from the engine cooling system for producing gasoline vapors.

1977 U.S. Pat. No. #3,759,234
The Buckton advances a fuel system which provides supplementary vapors for an internal combustion engine by means of a canister that contains a bed of charcoal granules.

1977 U.S. Pat. No. #4,015,570
Sommerville teaches a liquid-fuel vaporizer which is intended to replace the conventional fuel pump and carburetor that is designed to mechanically change liquid gasoline to a vapor state. [link to www.google.co.uk]

1979 U.S. Pat. No. #1,530,882
The Chapin discloses a gasoline tank surrounded by a water jacket, the latter of which is included in a circulation system with the radiator of the automobile. The heated water in the circulation system causes the fuel in the gasoline tank to readily vaporize. Suction from the inlet manifold causes air to be drawn into the tank to bubble air through the gasoline to help form the desired vapor which is then drawn to the manifold for combustion.

Good post!

I always wondered why we kept pumping liquid fuel into engines when it made much more sense to evap the gas to the engine.

It's so simple it's pathetic actually.

This works, but only with "white gas."

Modern gasoline has too much crud in it to not totally clog the system within a few tanks.

One fantastic *real* solution is hydrogen generated with solar panels. The hydride storage medium is literally as cheap as dirt to make, as soon as the fascist gubment lifts the manufacturing restriction due to some BS about nuclear tech. security.

But, electric is the way of the future. All we need is batteries at ~.6 kw-h per kg to eliminate combustion forever.

They Had batteries back in the 90's that gave an electric car over 200 miles of range (per charge) ! Guess who bought them (Battery Tech) and threw it down a hole ?

Re: 1000 Miles per Gallon Carburator
Sorry , fuel needs to be fed into an engine at 14.2-1 air/fuel ratio . ANYTHING less than that will burn valves and pistons as the mixture is too lean . If feeding in a vapor was so miraculous , why doesn't an engine running on Propane gas get great mileage ?
