This has been on GLP before. The general consensus is that its fake. A video made recenty in a setting that is supposed to look like 1980s.

Probably just filmed at a grandparents house.

Yup, something about the lighting that reflects in his glasses not being available til the late 80's or some shit.

Not this bullshit again! This is soooooo fucking fake, you've got to be the dumbest inbred piece of shit to believe this is a real video from the 1980's. This has been on GLP so many times it's pathetic.

it's fake...i work in motion picture production...
i work on large budget productions ie major features and dramatic network series in the set dressing dept...here is why its fake

1. Image quality is digitaly altered to make it look like a tube camera which is what was used in the year 1980. There is no "video noise" or drop out at all in this piece. It was shot on digital and had a filter added in post to make it look old.

2. the audio quality is why to good. It is very bright and crisp it sounds "digital"

3. Reflecting in his eye glasses is a "Four banger" Kino-flo flourscent fixture with a egg crate scrim. These were not used in 1980 at all... in fact they were not even invented yet.

4. Set dressing is off They tried way too hard it is unnatural everything is period but it looks staged and dressed it's way to sloppy or unnatural this is an opinion of course but after 15 years of dressing sets it know it when i see it.

5. His eye glasses are sold right now at Urban Outfitters

This to me is a fake. I'm not in the movie or sound business. But I've been in the IT business for over 25 years. I've worked with audio, video, etc, etc. Even when I watch movies from George Lucas or anyone else - I have a nasty habit of pointing out flaws instead of enjoying the movie.

So my question is, why was it made? For 15 mins of fame? Is this along the lines of the alien autopsy kinda thing? What was the motivation behind it?
