If you want to project a case for christianity being truth, I think you've come to the wrong thread. I sought the Truth, and found the truth to be that christianity is a mind-control system of lies, and that truth really did set me free!

* Have difficulty in service-oriented jobs. Indigo's resist authority and caste system of employment.

* Have trouble with systems they consider broken or ineffective, ie. political, educational, medical, and legal.

* Have an affinity to Knights, Castles, and Dragons.

A dreamer's dream. hf
 Quoting: CuriousSoul

If I might ask, how do these particular "traits" co-exist? To be more specific, how can one have an affinity to Knights and Castles, which are both high representations of broken systems and an authorative caste, while having an aversion to broken systems and authorative castes?

I'm not meaning to be disrespectful, merely curious.

 Quoting: Okie

A lot of people who love knights, castles, dragons, fantasty, etc. do so because of the code of chivalry and honor that is so often touted as part of the whole thing. That code of honor, that sense of chivalry and the underlying [erroneous] teachings about truth, justice, questing for love... all come together to create a picture of what people often wish for in the world.

Yes, it is a representation of a very cruel and barbaric system, but that's not how it's portrayed to modern people.
 Quoting: Sandi_T

The days of castles and dragons, and all, have their roots in something much more ancient, that, thanks to modern media and public schools, has been vastly overlooked and watered down...The tribal days, Celts, Gaels, etc. Druids and mythological warriors and heros and Chiefs! Most of the lore of the midieval age was copied by monks from the ancient lore/legend/oral records of history preserved by the Druids the New Religion destroyed. The legend of Arthur pales in comparison to the older legends! If you're interested in such things, I recommend looking into the Tuatha De' Danaan, Lugh, Manannan Mac Lir, Sidhe, etc. It's fascinating, and being from another world myself, it really fits, you know? Like a time that I feel I was a part of, people I was affiliated with. The Tuatha de' Danaan were not of this world, or at least not of the world we think we know. Manannan is something older than the Tuatha, and has been a helpful spirit guide throughout my life.

Sigh...I can see my words are lost on deaf ears. The bible is not sound doctrine. It is the ultimate fable, designed to eradicate the truth from the world, to erase history. Very few remember the Old Ways, very few remember the true history of this world. Very few can even read between the lines. That is sad, because I have a rather high regard for Europeans, and it disappoints me to see how the ignorance spread by organized religion has so utterly consumed the masses of peoples I would have expected to be above such indoctrination. How the mighty have fallen. Once brave men and women, who overthrew the roman empire, now slaves to the upgrade version: the holy roman empire. It matters not which denomination you are enslaved by, the fact remains, it is all from the same source of lies and treachery, yet so few have eyes to see, or ears to hear.

Indeed, Celt. We see the truth of what the bible really is, and when we point it out all they can do in return is quote it...as if it has any power whatsoever.

Here is the christian mentality explained logically:

1. The Bible is true! Yay!
2. Why? Because it's the "Word of God."
3. Who calls it the "Word of God"? Why, the Bible, of course!

Circular reasoning at it's finest. putin
I really do feel sad for them...no matter how much I reach out to them, to free their minds of the bondage that they are in, they stubbornly reject the truth for their outdated way of life. sigh

Well said. I more or less gave up on trying to show people the truth. they just don't want to see. Even if the Truth walked up, slapped them in the face and said "Now see here, bitch!" The sheep would just keep saying "Baaah!"

"Harmlessly passing your time in the grassland away.
Only dimly aware of a certain unease in the air.
You better watch out.
There may be dogs about.
I've looked over Jordan and I've seen.
Things are not what they seem.

What do you get for pretending the danger's not real?
Meek and obedient you follow the leader
Down well-trodden corridors, into the valley of steel.
What a surprise!
A look of terminal shock in your eyes.
Now things are really what they seem.
No, this is no bad dream.

The Lord is my sheppherd I shall not want.
He makes me down to lie
Through pastures green he leadeth me the silent waters by.
With bright knives he releaseth my soul.
He maketh me to hand on hooks in high places.
He converteth me to lamb cutlets.
For lo, he hath great power and great hunger.
When cometh the day we lowly ones
Through quiet reflection and great dedication
Master the art of Karate.
Lo, we shall rise up,
And then we'll make the buggers' eyes water.

Bleating and babbling I fell on his neck with a scream.
Wave upon wave of demented avengers
March cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream.

have you hear the news?
The dogs are dead!
You better stay home
And do as you're told.
Get out of the road if you want to grow old."

hf Violence is animalistic, self-preservation...honestly, I think a little well-deserved violence would do us all some good. What I don't get is this pascifistic, peace and love mentality. It sounds great in theory, and is a nolbe goal to strive for, but sometimes, we've got to take a step back and analyze the situation. Sometimes, we have to fight to survive. A good slave will never strike down his master. A free spirit will step on anyone who tries to lock him in a cage. The problem with revolutions, imo, is know how, when and where to direct the violence, and when to stop. Too many people ivolved, can get a little out of control, and opportunistic people will always try to steal the revolution and take power for themselves. Perhaps a bit off-topic, but felt inclined to speak my mind.

Re: Indigos, Starseeds, and my longing to find a Kindred Spirit ^_^
Yes, I'm an Indigo, probably, and I turn 68 this summer. Have known a few kindred spirits though the years in a variety of states and places. Northern California, especially along the coast, is one place with lots of kindred spirits. The Santa Cruz area kind of has an Indigo culture, which is weird when it intersects with Silicon Valley culture. I participated in both and so did many of my friends.

Wherever you are, if you can find a Druid group or shamanic drumming circle through meetups or wherever, you're more apt to find kindred spirits than elsewhere. And hopefully you have a favorite metaphysical bookstore within an hour or so. They usually advertise events with people you might relate to.
 Quoting: Little Bee

Hi, nice to meet you! :) It's great to know that you could find some people who share your spirit. Yes, Northern Cali has always attracted me. For their free spirit vibes and the beautiful, giant forests.

I live in Georgia, so I'm surrounded by Christianity, and they pretty much see the way that I think as satanic and deceitful. I've had so many people try to witness to me, lol. But I understand, cause I used to be in their shoes, so no worries. It's just not a hotspot for free thinking.

But, that's a great idea! There is a local metaphysical store that I love. I should definitely check out the pinboard. Don't know why I've never thought of that. A drum circle would be freakin awesome! Thanks!!!

Lol your story parallels mine to a highly improbable level.I also live in Ga, and have most of my life, so I can definitely relate to ALL of the problems you have had from the Christian community. I was raised southern baptist, so you can see the conflicts I had internally with accepting things for the way they are, and not the way I was taught. However, after I did, life took me up in it's arms, and has carried me every step of the way.

Due to my choices, my family has disowned me, but the family I have made for myself is the most beautiful aspect in my life. I live everyday with no regrets, and no worries.

I too am a indigo, and accepted this as truth after a long, long series of events occurred in my life literally snowballing to a level that was unavoidable. It seemed every time I made a decision that didn't follow my path, the universe was there to kick my ass and then pick me back up as if saying "now, come back home" Lol.

Growing up as an indigo was a very hard experience. I never fit in, not because I couldn't, but because I never wanted to. I saw my group of peers as anchors that would only weigh me down, and I refused to bend to their way of life. However, knowing that there really wasn't anyone I could talk to about the things I knew in my heart to be true, I withdrew. I was lonely. i was angry at the world for not seeing the world through my eyes. Everywhere I looked was violence and a completely lack of equality. This is NOT how we are meant to live.

After high school, I left home and didnt look back. Everyday of my life since then has been has been in the pursuit of knowledge and understanding. I searched all world's religions. I read every book I could, simply put, because I wanted to find God. The TRUE God. The Source of it all. I found it. And just as you said, it is all One. There is nothing else but the one. Everyday I build a more and more personal relationship with the universe and it rewards me by allowing me to see things I never knew were there. The beauty of it all fascinates every moment of everyday

Anywho, really tired of typing about myself, lol. Just wanted to give you a bit about me. What bookstore is it you enjoy? My personal favorite is Phoenix and Dragon. Very relaxing place filled with good people. Email me and let's get to know one another. I highly enjoy conversation with good people tounge

interesting declaration.

>> im curious... >>do you have problems with bright lights? like I mean do you prefer dim lights over extreme brightness? & also someone to always have sunglasses on ??

Im just asking out of curiosity ... im not judging in any way.
Im not looking for anything myself right at this moment other then world peace, health & happiness for all who deserve it.

But I also noticed that you never stated a preferred age? or stated what your sign is? or if you have any children or not?

usually someone looking for a connection/partner would state these things (well i mean just the basics)
obviously you wouldnt get to in depth on a public forum.

Hi! :)

Bright lights have always bothered me, and I totally prefer dim lights. My mom would always get on to me for reading without turning a light on, but I really didn't want a light on. The sun, however, doesn't bother me. I actually enjoy the bright sun, even if it blinds me, lol. It just feels good.

Well, I didn't actually post this looking for someone, I just wanted to release my thoughts and see if anyone out there could relate. It's a kind of therapy for me, hehe. But, since you asked, I'm a 26 year old Sagittarius girl with no children, except my 6 wonderful nephews.

Thanks for responding! :D

Re: Indigos, Starseeds, and my longing to find a Kindred Spirit ^_^
the castle and dragon intrigue if one tends to their inner Spiritual homework will most always be untangled to comprehend nonmonetary Spiritual castles and amazing gentle dragons in another more peaceful nonmonetary Spiritual realm of the gentle Spirit spark of creation.

the people grouping up and living together notions while existing in flesh vessels in the monetary realm is always usually going to lean towards a cult of some sort with a person of leading the masses into deception and chaos. that is simply the way of the physical monetary world.

healthiest could possibly be to simply tend to your own unique inner Spiritual homework and continue on you Spiritual journey as best as you can in the physical lands of confusion and distorton because if you have truly been seeking gentle ways of nonmonetary Spiritually then the outer forces will send and place physical people all around you with carefully crafted lies and their true motive will simply be to derail you from your Spiritual journey whether they realize it or not.

gently choosing Spiritual solitude to seek Spiritual journey in physical lands of chaos and confusion will be what some accuse of being selfish ways however to truly seek gently nonmonetary Spiritually you will simply reject their aggressive notions and instead feel compassion for them in their tangled monetary world of seeking outside completeness in people places and things.

Yay, thanks for replying! <3 I personally can't handle solitude for too long, but I totally respect those who choose it to further their spiritualness. I just try to enjoy every moment I can, and try to see the beauty in everything I do, and everyone I meet. I've chosen to try and love and accept everything in my life as what is meant to be. I accept that I'm lonely right now, but that might not always be the case, so I still have hope. :)

Re: Indigos, Starseeds, and my longing to find a Kindred Spirit ^_^
where have you been all of our lives?
i've been hanging out here on glp in
the hope of finding community.
there are a few, and i sense there
are many.
as a tribe i feel we are growing in
strength and in numbers.

thanx for your post.
i feel less alone.

keep your love and faith strong.
love shall prevail.

Hi!!!

Lol, where have YOU been? :) Yes, I've caught glimpses of it here and there on glp, and I get so excited when I do find those rare gems.

I feel the same way about us growing in strength and numbers, and am so thankful for the internet for connecting us more to each other. Yes, love shall prevail!

Glad you could get something out of my post, I hope the best for you! Thanks for helping ME feel less alone!!!

i was born an orphaned bastard gypsy with natural
hermit inclinations.
hence, i've kicked around a lot, and been kicked around
a lot more than that.
it took a half century to figure out things for myself.
birth karma sucked but i am grateful because being born
outside society and the system gave me the chance to think
for myself, survival depended on independent thought and
forming my picture of the grand scheme.
pain forced me to focus on the issue with intensity. while
others were in the game of life, [earning wages, paying
bills and taxes, marriage, abiding by concepts of god, honor, nationalism, . .raising kids to be same] i followed
different trails. soon as i was given the liberty of honorable discharge from armed services during time of draft, with eight dollars to my name and pocket, i stuck out my thumb and went where ever the rides would take me.
i discovered a country of citizens wonderful in generosity,
kind and caring. by their blessings i survived an entire
summer on their heart given hospitality.

after four years of military i was pretty jaded, and felt
dead in my soul, but that summer brought me back to life.
it changed my life.
i feel once we start looking past prejudices and stereotypes, all caused by fear and lack of knowledge, we will find we are all blessed children of the same divine
impulse.

it is the only message i felt inclined spreading at any
opportunity i am afforded, . .especially here on glp.
behind the differences we are all the same.
each and everyone of us seeking love and divine intimacy
with the one, the all.
peace, joy

So, thank you for sharing all of that!!! I truly love to hear about other's journeys in life. I can relate to all the things that I bolded in your story, and the other stuff, I feel like I might have done the same if I were in your shoes. It's taken me a quarter of a century to figure all this stuff out, but that makes sense, since I've read so many places that the rate of people who are becoming aware and conscious is speeding up more and more each year.

Yes, behind the differences, we are definitely the same. I'm learning this so well, and this knowing helps me love everything at such a higher level than I ever have. And it's so great!

Peace to you, brother (or sister), and thank you again for sharing!

There are many, it seems that have come here from higher spheres, choosing enthusiastically to share in the conditions here in order to raise them to a higher state. Love is sacrifice

Wherever all of you are, you are connected, never alone. Its an illusion only the dull basic senses perpetuate.

Your influence is now growing. The balance of conditions are shifting towards the Light even as the dark ones make their defiant last stand. Keep spreading your ideas, your Love, your thoughts to the people of a world searching desperately for the inspiration their souls are urging them to seek for. Leave these impressions in the ethers, that those ready to change may receive them.

In Unity

Thanks so much for posting!!!!

Sooo happy to see you, too!!! I'm so grateful for souls like yours, who can just share in the joy of being. I want to fly so bad. I've always had an afinity for human flight. I dream about it a lot, and have even been able to fly in the 'astral' realm a few times. It's pretty freakin awesome! :D

I don't know what the final aim is, but I'm definitely excited about all of it.

Take care and thank you for sharing!!!

R U male or female?

Female by birth, but some days I feel more masculine, lol. I like being androgynous. I wear suits and ties, or dresses, whatever I feel like in the moment. ^_^

yes the sun is different then electricity light.
electric wattage seems to create a sort of uncomfortable friction with pure inner starseed light.
..yet laser light or light seem more compatible.
I can tolerate electricity light but i just "dont prefer" it unless I have to.

this is the place to release.
you have very nice thoughts.
you are not alone.
keep shining.

If you want to project a case for christianity being truth, I think you've come to the wrong thread. I sought the Truth, and found the truth to be that christianity is a mind-control system of lies, and that truth really did set me free!
 Quoting: Celt 10717335

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
2 Timothy 4:3,4
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8957409

 Quoting: Celt 10717335

Indeed, Celt. We see the truth of what the bible really is, and when we point it out all they can do in return is quote it...as if it has any power whatsoever.

Here is the christian mentality explained logically:

1. The Bible is true! Yay!
2. Why? Because it's the "Word of God."
3. Who calls it the "Word of God"? Why, the Bible, of course!

Circular reasoning at it's finest. putin
I really do feel sad for them...no matter how much I reach out to them, to free their minds of the bondage that they are in, they stubbornly reject the truth for their outdated way of life. sigh
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 11692071

Little ignorant on your own "gods" then ?
Many apparently other than you know by now there was no "J" in the alphabet at the time, so how did it end up in the book.

Re: Indigos, Starseeds, and my longing to find a Kindred Spirit ^_^
Here are some of the traits that describe me so perfectly:

* Always need to know WHY, especially why they are being asked to do something.
Agree.

* Had disgust and perhaps loathing for much of the required and repetitious work in school.
Totally agree.

* May have experienced early existential depression and feelings of helplessness. These may have ranged from sadness to utter despair. Suicidal feelings while still in high school or younger are not uncommon in the Indigo Adult.
Definately, all of the above.

* Have difficulty in service-oriented jobs. Indigo's resist authority and caste system of employment.
Absolutely agree.

* Have deep empathy for others, yet an intolerance of stupidity.
Haha! So, so true.

* May have trouble with RAGE.
Not too often, thanks to yoga, but used to be a bigger problem for me.

* Have trouble with systems they consider broken or ineffective, ie. political, educational, medical, and legal.
Absolutely agree! Despise it all!

* Have an inner awareness that what is being taught in churches and schools is NOT accurate and know there are hidden agendas around the lies that are being accepted by the masses as "Truth." This is extremely frustrating but inspires them to uncover the cover-ups and expose The Real Truth!~ Have a strong sense of truth, ethics, justice and freedom. (That is why "authority figures" many times irritate and frustrate them). When these are in jeopardy, will give their "all" for their cause, and many times feel they would rather die than give-in to tyranny and deception.
All my life, I was doubting and questioning, and my instincts often suggested a rather contrary perspective.

* Have an affinity to Knights, Castles, and Dragons.
I wouldn't say knights, but definately warriors, castles, dragons and the Otherworld.

* Many times get along better with animals and nature than people.
All my life.

* Have a bond/connection to the trees, and nature in general.
This is so true. Oak trees, in particular, as well as birch.

* Can relate well to children and or the elderly
More so than with adults, for sure.

* Involve themselves in human/animal rights efforts.
Not so much the rights movements, other than passively, but I'm a healer, and direct my efforts to humans and animals, particularly cats, dogs and horses.

* Have an innate sense of "oneness" and connectedness to all of creation. Get confused and disturbed when others don’t share their reality of "at-one-ment."
All my life.

* High capacity for love, and therefore others may feel uncomfortable by their intensity.
I've learned to reign this in, but it used to apply moreso when I was younger and more trusting.

* Very sensitive, sometimes "Hyper Sensitive" and may not be able to distinguish between the emotional fields of those around them and their own personal emotions.
True! While studying massage therapy, I finally came to understand this and how to recognize when emotions were my own or belonging to others. Very cool, to say the least. It's almost like being able to read someone's mind, bc if you know their emotions, you can more or less guess their intentions.

* May go through periods of apathy and cynicism as coping mechanisms.
Hahaha! Definately!

* Intense longing for "their own kind"·.Soul Mates·but don’t know where to look.
I know where to look, I think, but I don't know how to go there...but I seriously relate to this.

 Quoting: CuriousSoul

The title of your thread stuck out to me, in a rather different way than others of similar subject matter.
Just reading through the list of traits you posted, I have to admit, I relate to all of the above. And I understand how you must feel. It took me a long time to figure out much of this for myself, and although it feels so strange to know I don't belong here, I'm glad to know. Truth is so much better than ignorance, imo. I hope you find what you are looking for! I have already come to accept that the one I hope to find, cannot be found in this lifetime, nor on this planet. One day...I may have figured out how, but I'll have to wait and see.
 Quoting: Celt 10717335

Celt, it is so awesome to meet you! Thank you so much for posting!!! :D I feel like I want to hug you, just because it's so rare to find someone who can relate to all of those things.

Yes, I think I'm finally coming to accept that I might not be from this planet originally, which would explain why I've always felt like I wanted out of here. And I've never ever felt like I knew how to fit in, while my family and friends always seem to have that knowledge. And, you're right, I'm so glad that this is a possibility! It's actually a relief to know that this could be the reason I've always felt like an outsider.

I do wish, though, that my alien friends from my home planet would stop by for a chat, so I could be 100% sure about it all, lol. But, whether my soul is new to being on earth, or not, I'm just thankful I can finally find some joy in this life. Knowing that wherever I'm from, that all of us: humans, pleadians, reptillians, sirians, vulcans, leprechauns, djinns, ect. are all ONE in the bigger scheme of things, and we all have a part to play, it really helps me to be able to spread as much love and positivity to as many beings as possible.

Hahaha, I think I do come across as too intense for some people, though. Ah well, can't have too much love in the world.

So, do you know which planet 'the one you hope to find' is on? Can you reach them through astral projection?

I'd really love to project more, but it always feels like something is blocking me for whatever reason. I keep trying, though, lol. There's nothing like being able to jump off your balcony and fly into the night sky, feeling the wind rush against your face, and just being freeeee!

Thanks so much, your energy just feels so familiar and comforting to me. I wish you all the best!!! ^_^
