Re: Sneezing at Roswell
The owls reference is from that awful fakeumentary with Milla Jovovich, "The Fourth Kind." The contactee kept waking up to see snow owls perched outside her window.

The rocks reference is from "Knowing," that awful sci-fi actioner with Nic Cage. The aliens left small piles of smooth, black stones at his house to hint as to where to meet them at their UFO site...or something.

I found a weird rock on my front walk a few years back (it was after seeing the movie, so I kept it). It's about the size/shape/color of a potato (no, it's not a potato), curved on the bottom but flatter on the top, rounded like a river stone, but nowhere near any body of water. It has a small indentation on the top, with circles coming out from it.

It's my magic UFO rock that will save me from Armageddon. I've still got it.

Doesn't sound like the sort of "munchies" I was referring to, OP! Which is perhaps good news!

The hunger I was referring to would have been quite sudden in onset, no delay of a half hour or more, and it would have been of an intensity that was noticeable--literally hunger enough to eat the quantity of two meals in one sitting, wolfing it.

Very interesting thread here.

Hey, did the camera-man use a flash when he was taking pics of you/your's? Or, was the photography "flash-free"??

If he used a flash, I'd be wondering about there having been some induction technique associated with it. Any memories of a flash of his camera?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1284302

I honestly don't remember either way on the flash.

Good to know on the munchy thing though, if I thought there was a chance something also could have happened to my girls, well, I would be one angry Mom....

there were entities in your vicinity that were out of your visual spectrum of sight that you were having an allergic response to. Hence, I bet that got their attention.

...

What do these mean???

I personally have had all of these happen to me

(dont mean to steal your thread ; sorry)

I had a collection of painted rocks on my porch show up last summer on a few occasions

It was weird
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12025500

Steal away, I just want answers!
I came back here because I started having dreams about being abducted by the military, not aliens, the military...Very vivid, very scary, and they creeped the hell out of me. I kept thinking back about our vacation and thinking I was paranoid and it was triggering these dreams, but then in one of the dreams the "staff" was trying to inject me with something and I somehow got my left arm loose and was fighting back, this burly guy (they were all in hospital gowns and masks) grabbed my arm and held it down really hard, it really hurt and I could feel his fingers digging into my arm. the next day I noticed finger shaped bruises on my arm where he held me down.

So please, steal away and tell me what you know.
 Quoting: Eldari

So have I , honey

I have had recurring dreams of being abducted as well

I use to live in Las Cruses NM and I visited that museum as well!! once
when I lived there

About 10 years ago now
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12025500

How do you deal with it and stay sane? I feel exhausted when I get up, I can't shake the memory of them, sometimes I wake up smelling and tasting this metallic taste, like when you have a filling at the dentist. When stuff crosses over into when you are awake, like bruises how can one keep thinking it was just a dream?
 Quoting: Eldari

I dont know if it was just a dream ; if it actually happened ; or if it is a future occurrance of some sort

I am not afraid at all...I think it is actually great material for a book ...

I have had strange things happen from time to time ; like those painted rocks appearing on my porch

I am also much more intuitive

I hope you find the answers you are looking for one day

Re: Sneezing at Roswell
I'm originally from Roswell and that museum is crap. Definitely a dark, weird feeling while you're in there. Did the guy you're talking about seem like he works there? If so, I'll bet I can figure out who he is.

As for the sneezing, did you visit recently? They've had a very early spring this year and the junipers are blooming like crazy along with lots of other allergens. That could be the problem. Just a side note, but I've always been a serial sneezer: when I sneeze I always sneeze at least 5 times and sometimes as many as 15 in a row. Sometimes I even hyperventilate and get dizzy enough that I have to sit down. My oldest son is the same way...go figure!

Don't know what to tell you about the hotel oddities and the white sands thing. I have a family member who works with the high speed sleds and I know that shuttles are common to take employees from the parking lot to the lab, but it doesn't sound like the Jeep thing is the same.

OP, if your sneezing reaction had been not just in the museum, but everywhere you went, I'd suggest it having been an allergy to cottonwood pollen which seems to afflict allergic people here (New Mex., Colorado) twice a year, in the spring and in the fall when the "cotton" is blowing everywhere.

Re: Sneezing at Roswell
Serious question....This last summer I took 2 of my daughters (13 and 16) on a "road trip of epic proportion". Our first stop was Roswell, NM. We visited the museum and bought shirts. It was lots of fun. BTW, it is really educational but is more like a science project exhibit, newspaper clippings, recordings of radio broadcasts, drawings, replicas, etc... The girls were excited though. Strange though was my physical reaction during the tour. I could not stop sneezing during the duration. I also started noticing a guy that stayed with us throughout the museum. It is a place where you just walk around on your own so as a Mom with my girls out on a road trip my radar was always on overdrive so I thought I was being overly paranoid but then I noticed he was taking pictures of exhibits from behind us, always with us in the pic. He never walked up and read anything up close, always kept us between him and the object of his camera. At the end is a recreation of an autopsy, we are all looking at it and I felt really sickened by it and said, you know, it just seems morbid, a recreation of an autopsy, of any species is just wrong. I then turned and noticed both my girls have tears in their eyes. We exited into the gift shop, bought shirts and I noticed camera guy is now in the exit area. Its like you leave the gift shop and walk along the building face along a glassed in area to the other exit door. So he is in there talking, we finish and we have to walk past him in this narrow area to get outside. He is still talking and as we are going past him he turns and watches us, nods and says "Welcome back ladies, enjoy your trip." Welcome back???

OK, I know I am being paranoid but you have to admit that was weird, we kind of laughed it off, made jokes and all as we drove over to our next stop, White Sands missile range. We checked into the hotel and the clerk guy says, "Hey nice to see you, been waiting for you, I saved back 2 sleds for you to take to the dunes." I am thinking my husband called them even though I made these reservations and only listed one adult on the reservation. So we change, go out to the dunes and spent the entire afternoon sledding and sitting out there watching the sun set. As we are leaving we actually got to see some military helicopters fly past. Later I talk to my husband and he never called the hotel...

We then drove past the giant array telescopes just in time to see someone dressed up in a blue body suit near one of the telescope get picked up by a jeep and taken somewhere. We of course pulled over and took pictures. During the petrified forest tour we had a park ranger follow us through the entire park, stopping where we stopped and giving us pretty much a guided tour. Then after lots of other cool stops, we get to San Francisco and check into our hotel only to find out our room for 4 nights has been upgraded free of charge to the presidential suite, complete with balcony facing the ocean...

When I get home I am telling my dad (who is retired high up military) about Roswell and the sneezing and his reaction is, "wow, I bet that got their attention". I was like, why would my sneezing get anyone's attention? He said no reason and changed the subject.

So after all of that I really just want to know if anyone has ever had anything strange happen while vacationing, especially at sites such as Roswell, and also, has anyone else ever experienced or heard of anyone having sneezing fits at those places...and why the heck sneezing could/would get someone's attention?
 Quoting: Eldari

Well, a couple of things...that your father was a high up
retired military guy throws up a red flag for me. I am
also curious why the "interest" in Roswell. That also is
a red flag for me only that it would reflect on something
which could be subconscious. Earlier experiences?

Yes, I have also had dreams of military abduction. This
after a series of phone calls and "tones". I would not listen to the tones but others like me at the same time
were getting these calls so we knew there was some kind of effort going on. Suggesting that perhaps something happened to you to that triggered a visit to this place. In my military abduction dream, they would say look up, and I would look up. They said, "what do you see?". "A Ufo", I would say. "Nooooooo, you dont", the man in my face would scream, just inches away. I would disassociate and think, this guy is going to have a heart attack. In the end, I realized I was dreaming when I had a chance to bolt, and I did. The guys with guns came running like crazy in hot pursuit but they never fired on me. At this point I told myself it was most likely remote viewers sitting in a room messing with me. So, they CAN get into your mind. Awareness of what is real or not can help although at times be difficult to discern.

Watch your children for signs of paranormal activity. Ask
them about their dreams. It could be nothing but it could be something since your "mother's intuition" is suggesting that there were too many high strangeness coincidences for it to be merely happenstance.

If phones ring and you answer and it is dead air, hang up immediately. Never listen to tones or clicks on your phone.

It could also be that you were identified as a person of interest long before you walked through the door. I attended a ufo conference once and caught a man snapping pics of EVERYONE's license plates in the parking lot. We confronted him and he was dismissive. That afternoon he walked up to my friend and gave her a piece of paper which had something written on it that proved that she had been under surveillance for most of her adult life, if not her whole life. He did not say why but he did prove his point that he was a force to be reckoned with.

In a perfect world, it would probably be nothing, but in these crazy times, the pieces of the puzzle you are trying to figure out would probably amaze you with their numbers...

Good luck

Well, I see similarities between my experiences and yours.
My daughter, (it is often generational), also had lots,
LOTS, of nosebleeds. Also has an IQ of 141. There is more but I am not interested in going on and on, but just to say that for my two cents, you are probably on more than a few radar screens...yours, "theirs" and TPTB.

Nice you got to have a vacation. After this, you should now realize that nothing should surprise you...

Nice you got to have a vacation. After this, you should now realize that nothing should surprise you...

I am definitely getting to the point of not being surprised anymore, can you elaborate on why exactly I might be on anyones radar though, I get that I might have had a reaction and triggered something or maybe I have been on the list longer but why exactly? Why would they be interested I guess is what I mean.
Bright One they called her, whenever she came to house,
the seers with pleasing prophecies, she charmed them with spells;
she made magic whenever she could, with magic she played with minds,
she was always the favourite of the wicked women.

You are probably a hybrid.

I'm serious.

You need to have a good talk with your father.

If you had dreams, then you were taken out of time and they performed their procedures, than placed you back into the time line where you were entered from. That would include your kids.

In most cases missing time is unnoticed because the translation was seamless and the time period was re-entered at the moment the subject(s) were taken.

Have you asked your kids why the tears.

The dreams didn't start until a few months after we got home and have consistently gotten more frequent. As for the tears they just said that they were really sad, that the exhibit made them feel really sad. If you have ever been there it is actually pretty cheesy, I looked up the museum online and there is a picture. It isn't anything to elicit such strong emotions.

Talking to my father is like talking to a brick wall. lol Not only is he ex military but he became an evangelical preacher after retirement and doesn't talk about or believe in such things.
I remember about 10 years ago I found a picture on the internet of a missing girl that was an identical match to me except it absolutely couldn't be me since she went missing after I was enrolled in Kindergarten and she was 3 at the time. I would have been 5 almost 6. But, it was really bizarre, the similarities, so I printed it out and showed both of my parents, and other family members asking them who they thought it was. Everyone thought it was me....When I told them what it actually was my Mom just laughed but my Dad got quiet, said oh, and walked out the door.

Now, please don't freak, it really couldn't have been me, but if there is a twin for everyone out there, then mine went missing. Along that line as well, I also only have a citizen born abroad military certificate of birth, I tried to get an actual birth certificate but there isn't one on file anywhere to get...I have been assured that what I have is legal and all that but it is also another weird peg in my strange life...
