My Baby Kitty Zorro crossed over to Rainbow Bridge yesterday.....:( | |

User ID: 6038128  United States03/11/2012 04:46 PM  Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | After 6 Months of fighting off what I know now was Intestinal Cancer, my baby went to live with the Angel Kitty's he was almost 13 and I had him since he was a few weeks old... Yesterday I knew this was the day he would be leaving, so right before 11:30 in the morning, he let me know it was time, I warmed up a towel since he likes warmth in all it's forms and I wrapped him up and went outside, with a heart breaking and tears streaming, I said a prayer and watched him take his last breaths.... After his passing, a butterfly flew by out of no-where and I knew he left his body that had finally failed him, to enter the Perfection of Re-Birth in Heaven's Rainbow Bridge... He fought the Good fight along with me, but in the end it was time for him to leave... My heart is broken and the hardest thing is having to be in our house that was so filled with the Love and Joy of My Zorro.. He is being cremated and the organization, Circle of Life picked him up where they take an im-print of the animal's paw and imprint it on a Cedar Prayer box with an inscription of when he entered the world which Zorro entered in 1999 and went to Rainbow Bridge in 2012.. My emotions are all over the place as I am sure many of you know who have lost a beloved pet... However I believe with all my heart that GOD loves the Animals and gave them a Soul and Spirit, and the reason we love these animals so much is because GOD loved them first... Zorro loved playing with his Laser light, chasing a lizard or tennis ball or sitting on the window sill sucking up the SUN... I will miss him so much... I have a teeny tiny teacup Pomeranian who escaped the safety of the house and was hit by a car in 2007. I was so grieve stricken when I think back about it I wonder how we humans can live a pet like a child anyhow about a month after his passing I saw an old friend who introduced me to the rainbow bridge concept she gave me a copy of a poem with the rainbridge story. It was this that helped me get past that horrible time, peace. just trying to figure it out |
