Light blue eyes here.

The OP is accurately describing a perfectly normal variation on the human biology, adapted to northern, cloudy, forested parts of the world.

I sneeze whenever I go out into bright sunlight.

Although I have found very little written about this, by asking other people about it, I have found that some very light-eyed people also have this reaction.

Apparently it is hereditary.

Anybody else with light eyes sneeze when stepping into sunlight?

Yes.

You probably picked up on my use of language; orderly -- observing a phenomenon without judging it or drawing conclussions except that it is a normal variation.

Yes, the green-blue-purple end of the spectrum is my natural home.

Re: I have very bright blue eyes and they are extremely sensitive to the Sun and light......
Wearing sunglasses all the time might actually weaken the eyes and makes it worse..the eyes get used to the sunglasses and when you forget to wear them your eyes can't naturally protect themselves as well as they should ..(I don't have proof and I'm not 100% sure, but my mom told me this..I would love to hear someones opinion about this!)
And if you wear ones without UV protection then the UV rays harm your eyes through the sunglasses(because your pupils are dilated but not protected against UV) the same is with drugs that dilate the pupils. That's how you can really fuck your eyes up.
I have really light eyes myself and the sensitivity is pissing me off..I read that fish oil(omega 3)helps and I've started to take it in capsules.
Also anyone with this problem should read about sungazing. It might actually help.
I think that eyes can be trained.

You should probably go some place north like Iceland or Norway, your eyes developed because of lower levels of sunlight and UV and also to see more colour. You go north and your eyes will work as they should in your natural environment.

OP i have the exact same problem, do your eyes water when you go out into bright sunlight? mine do. also my eyes become more blue when my mood changes, or if i drink alcohol, very odd. i also have super pale skin and have to wear factor 50 in summer (i live 50 degrees north!!!) im quite sceptical about this whole hybrid thing, but i know what you are talking about, I'd move to somewhere further north, or wear sunglasses all the time, at least you will look chic!

Re: I have very bright blue eyes and they are extremely sensitive to the Sun and light......
Some days my eyes get so bright, people ask me if I'm wearing fake contacts. My eyes are very sensitive to light. I think that is one of the reasons I prefer grey, darker days. At times they become deep blue, but it all depends on my mood or weather. It's actually quite weird. Anyways, why would my eyes be so sensitive in Sun light? I know other people who have green, brown, hazel, and even blue who do not have this problem. I have never met anyone with the type of blue eyes I have, however. They get extremelely bright and piercing. I have done some searches on it, but never really came up with a logical explanation. If I shut my eyes, I can alomost see everything around me and when it is dark, I can still see (not 100%), even without my contacts. I'm somewhat baffled by this.

Re: I have very bright blue eyes and they are extremely sensitive to the Sun and light......
• I do enjoy reading about the ‘wiggle’n’ of a godless society and the narratives are always missing the 1 degree of knowledge, essentially that the meek will confound the so called wise. Due to the lies of ‘white’ supremacy’ that pervades most cultures and societies many attempts have been made to oppress/suppress the truth, i.e. ancient Egyptian and Sumerian artifacts defaced, painted over with pale skin and blue eyes, natives in the Americas told they came over across the Bering strait, his-tory contoured to fit the genocidal mass conditioning of ppl. To negate the true origins of humanity. The simple truth is “god”, “God”, “GOD” is not a bearded pale man in the heavens as most many think; ppl. need to come to the realization that Nubian ppl. are the givers of civilization and the true Native Americans are of Nubian descent; all civilizations no matter how old, came from Nubian ppl. and because ppl. are so full of racism they refuse or are unable to see the basic and simple truth that the Hopi and Navajo ppl. foretold; if ppl. are interested in the truth, free Dr. Malachi Z. York a falsely imprisoned native American who dared to tell the truth of the reality in which ppl. are existing in….over come your racism and self hate, and you will see the truth that we are all contributing to this oppressive reality and the realization that the sun/heru, the messiah has returned, sun/son shine on me....cursed are those who try to extinguish the black light....

"white" is not the correct word as white is not a color it is a state of purity; the correct term is pale and/or albino and it is due to recessive genes of the Nubian ppl. Either way one looks at it, religious or scientific, the results are the same. 2 pale people can’t give birth to a Nubian child however 2 Nubian people can give birth to an albino. Canaan, the son of Ham (the cursed one) and Haliyma, was an albino, ridicule from peers and lack of melanin to protect him from the sun caused him to flee to the caves of what is now referred to as Europe and thus you have a race the emerged out of the caves which would be the pale albino lepers. These are the same beings written about in Leviticus and the priest where given instructions on how to tend to this being whether it was a clean leper or unclean with leprosy (rosecia) and further people where instructed not to mixed their seed due to the recessive genes of blond fur/blue eyes.

The reason for the pale lepers being mistaken for 'gods' was because some of the indigenous people forget the teaching and misinterpreted pale for 'white' or it the story was distorted to perpetuate pale supremacy of a recessive being, a man-kind, beast like, however, as stated at the beginning white is not a color it is a state of purity. So pale/albino beings are recessive beings as any elementary science book will instruct that blue eyes/blond fur is recessive. And thus the native were given the story about the appearance of the ‘white’ buffalo because that was a sign of the end of the genetic strain due to the approach of tIt is genocidal programming of 'white' supremacy thru the educational systems that ppl. have been mis-educated. If one looks at the 'Mayan' prophecies there is a depiction in one of the glyphs that show the pale lepers as spotted beings and this was foretold by our ancestors that there would be pale beings that would take over the world and rule in the moon cycle using the gases of Saturn (satan) however that time was up in 1996 when we entered the sun cycle and many of these beings will be destroyed via the radiation (melanoma) of the sun this is what is referred to as the coming of the messiah it is indeed the sun/son/heru cycle when all that was hidden will be revealed and the meek shall confound the so called wise. So pale beings did not come from Mars and there are not artifacts in Europe reflecting this 'new age' thought.

The reason why most people don’t know this is they do not what to face the facts that pale lepers are descents from Nubian people they want to perpetuate lies or are in complete denial. Imagine being told all your life you are a god because of 'white' skin blue eyes, blond fur and come to find out all these attributes of so called god is really due to recessive genes of Nubian people...now imagine being told you were nothing but a slave, savage that had to be civilized only to find out that Nubian (black) people built the pyramids and are the givers of civilization, the true gods of the earth, the Annunaki whom came to earth via mars to genetically graph homo sapiens...o father re, come a little bit closer to us, the son/sun of righteousness the true witness of all in all...peace to the gods....

I also have bright blue eyes, and feel your pain. I don't think my case is quite as extreme as what you're describing though. However, I do insist on wearing sunglasses anytime that I go outside. Sometimes if I'm sitting by a window, I'm even tempted to wear them inside.

There's a scientific explanation to it. Before people migrated to places other than their native land, everyone in one location had similar features. People with bright blue eyes typically lived in very cold places like Switzerland for instance where the sun would rarely shine. These people also had very light skin because they didn't need much melanin to protect them from suburn.

People in places like Africa typically had darker eyes and skin to protect them from the sun. Their darker sin caused them to absorb the sun rather than burn.

Hey Dease, how ya doin'? :) Yeah, I am fair skinned, just like most British people are. The weird thing is, my dad was born in Serbia, who are mostly darker skinned and can tan. It is hard for me to tan. I wear sunglasses, but they still aren't enough. I also have sensitivity problems during grey weather as well, but not as much. I mean, some days my eyes get so bright they look artificial. People complement me on them, but that doesn't change how sensitive they are.......lol. Yeah, Hitler woulda loved me. Blonde haired, blue eyed, fair skinned male. lol

Well it's know that brown eyes block more of the harsh sunlight, with melanin pigmentation. Albino do not block any and they have to wear sunglasses most of the time. I think vivid blue is next after albinos for sun sensitivity.

Blue eyes here....light sensitive like the others posting...i've worn sunglasses in the house and at night before and after prescriptions for decades. Currently have blue tinted glasses and that seems to help with artificial lighting at night while at restaurants, shopping and generally speaking. My mother (90s) still puts on dark sunglasses when she wake up and my sons sneeze when they go outside...it's a family thing so i guess we came by it naturally.

I have really bright light blue eyes a lot like what it sounds like you have.
My eyes are kind of sensitive to light, but not super sensitive.
I'm guessing hair color and skin tone probably play a bit of a role too.
I have brown hair and medium skin and tan fairly well.

My mother and sister are very blonde with very fair skin that doesn't tan at all. Like me and you they have very bright light blue eyes.
Their eyes are very sensitive to light much like it sounds with you.
My brother has dark blonde hair and dark blue eyes and tans fairly well.

My father has brown hair and dark blue eyes and tans pretty well.
Their eyes aren't that sensitive to light.
Of course dark blue eyes don't tend to be as sensitive as very bright light blue eyes do.
It seems too people with brown, black, or even dark blonde hair, and not so fair skin with very bright blue eyes don't tend to be as sensitive to light as people with very blonde hair and very bright blue eyes do.

It's funny how blue eyed blondes have all the coloring of the sun and a bright sunny day: they're bright and shiny like the sun there hair is the color of the sun and bright and shiny like the sun and the color of the sun their eyes the color of the sky on a bright sunny day there skin very white like white puffy clouds on a bright sunny day.
Blue eyed blondes are also hot and the sun is hot.
Yet the sun is so harmful to them and they sunburn so easy and are so sensitive to sunlight.
Nonblondes on the other hand have the coloring of a dark gloomy cloudy day there hair eyes and skin the color of a dark gloomy cloudy day.
Yet they take the sun very well and don't burn easily and aren't sensitive to sunlight.
Why is it that blue eyed blondes which are bright and shiny like the sun and have all the coloring of a bright sunny day are so vulnerable to the sun and burn so easy and are so sensitive to sunlight while no blondes who have the coloring of a dark gloomy cloudy day take the sun well don't burn easy and aren't sensitive to light.

I have extremely bright piercing clear ice blue (pretty much transparent) eyes.

My sisters do too.
So do my kids.
My husband's eyes are almost as blue.

I also have extremely long natural platinum blonde (almost white) hair, that is very shiny silky, fine and thick(in the amount not texture of course).

My skin is extremely fair and impossible to tan.
I wouldn't tan even if I could.
Tan skin would look weird with me having such blonde hair and blue eyes.

My sisters have the same features I do.

Yes my eyes are very sensitive to light. Same with my sisters and my husband and kids.

We don't wear sunglasses as we believe they do more harm than good.

We don't wear sunscreen.
That stuff is toxic and causes cancer.

Bright sunny summer days and even fall and spring days can be rough for us, particularly if hiking or driving in unshaded areas.

We just take breaks if the sun is getting to be too much for our eyes and try to avoid hiking, being out in, and driving in unshaded areas as much during the brightest part of the day.

We do see very well on the dark.
People always comment on how well we see in the dark .

We do have to be very careful in the sun too as we burn very easily. Even our sweat burns are doing that's how fair and sensitive our skin is.

We do get lots of compliments on our hair and eyes.

People always tell me I have the bluest, brightest, lightest, most beautiful eyes they've ever seen.

My sisters get similar compliments.

People constantly compliment me on my hair too.

They tell me I have the longest blondest, shiniest, silkiest, healthiest, most beautiful hair they ever seen.

Many people nickname me Rapunzel because my hair is so long.
Some nickname me Platinum Rapunzel since my hair is naturally platinum blondes.
Plattylocks is another nickname I get too.

My sisters get those compliments and nicknames too as they also have extremely long hair.
Some nickname us the Rapunzel Sisters, or the Platinum Rapunzel Sisters.

Me and my sisters are and have always been very close.

We're like a team.

Of course me and my husband are a team too.

My family and my husband's family are very close with each other too.

And we are very proud of being white and very proud of our very beautiful very Nordic heritage and genes.

Re: I have very bright blue eyes and they are extremely sensitive to the Sun and light......

Blonde haired, blue eyed, fair skinned male. lol

You sound like you'd be very handsome.
I have always loved and been attracted to blonde, blue eyed, fair skinned men.

The blonder, bluer eyed and fairer skinned the better.

That of course is why I married a very Nordic, very blonde, bright ice blue eyed white man and he as kids with.

We have 3 already and plan to have more.

Btw we're in our late 20's.

Oops.
I just noticed these posts were from 2012.
Oh well, that doesn't change anything I said.

Kind of weird though such an old thread was bumped.
