Message Subject I have very bright blue eyes and they are extremely sensitive to the Sun and light......

Some days my eyes get so bright, people ask me if I'm wearing fake contacts. My eyes are very sensitive to light. I think that is one of the reasons I prefer grey, darker days. At times they become deep blue, but it all depends on my mood or weather. It's actually quite weird. Anyways, why would my eyes be so sensitive in Sun light? I know other people who have green, brown, hazel, and even blue who do not have this problem. I have never met anyone with the type of blue eyes I have, however. They get extremelely bright and piercing. I have done some searches on it, but never really came up with a logical explanation. If I shut my eyes, I can alomost see everything around me and when it is dark, I can still see (not 100%), even without my contacts. I'm somewhat baffled by this.

I am the same, except I don't wear contact or glasses, perfect vision. a 40w lightbulb can be too much, I always wear sunglasses outside or I am squinting. As far as I can remember, I have always been that way, and my eyes are also extremely piercing blue, so much so that many women stare at me and often stop me to tell me how beautiful my eyes are, then giggle and walk away. Even IF my g/f is with me at the time. We both find it funny.
