Some days my eyes get so bright, people ask me if I'm wearing fake contacts. My eyes are very sensitive to light. I think that is one of the reasons I prefer grey, darker days. At times they become deep blue, but it all depends on my mood or weather. It's actually quite weird. Anyways, why would my eyes be so sensitive in Sun light? I know other people who have green, brown, hazel, and even blue who do not have this problem. I have never met anyone with the type of blue eyes I have, however. They get extremelely bright and piercing. I have done some searches on it, but never really came up with a logical explanation. If I shut my eyes, I can alomost see everything around me and when it is dark, I can still see (not 100%), even without my contacts. I'm somewhat baffled by this.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1562698 I have very green eyes and I suffer from the same issue. Sometimes normal days are so bright it causes my eyes to water. Interestingly enough, my night vision is very good but it’s sorta odd. Let’s say an object like a lighter is laying on the ground at night. If I look directly at it, I cannot see it. Avert my gaze slightly(look an inch or two away from the object) and all of a sudden I can see it. Almost like a magic trick it vanishes and reappears when I adjust my gaze haha
