Some days my eyes get so bright, people ask me if I'm wearing fake contacts. My eyes are very sensitive to light. I think that is one of the reasons I prefer grey, darker days. At times they become deep blue, but it all depends on my mood or weather. It's actually quite weird. Anyways, why would my eyes be so sensitive in Sun light? I know other people who have green, brown, hazel, and even blue who do not have this problem. I have never met anyone with the type of blue eyes I have, however. They get extremelely bright and piercing. I have done some searches on it, but never really came up with a logical explanation. If I shut my eyes, I can alomost see everything around me and when it is dark, I can still see (not 100%), even without my contacts. I'm somewhat baffled by this.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1562698 Not diagnosing but systemic Acidosis can cause sensitive eyes. Don't know your history/age but I would look into that. Hope you resolve it. Quoting: buster4445 That is likely OP's problem if he's not just making shit up. I knows plenty of Nordic people with bright blue eyes that don't have problems with sensitivity to light. Eye color has nothing to do with sensitivity to light.
