Thanks OP, but now I'm really pissed off. I just planted my garden and used some of these varieties.

suicide

How can one know if the seeds are GMO or not? Do we have to pick only heirloom varieties or would organic designation prevent GMO?

It's always best to plant heirlooms, because you can save the seeds, and use them in your garden the following year. I've already got green beans, tomatoes, broccoli, cilantro and an avocado tree going from seeds I saved from my last years garden. And 100% of the seeds I planted grew!
No trees were killed in the sending of this message, however a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

That's awesome. I got a few seeds last year, but this year I plan to let a section of each crop go to seed.

I like this organization:

I do have a large sealed can with 10's of 1000's of seeds for a SHTF scenario though.
At that point, methinks I'll be happy with anything that grows. ;-`)

"Who grows a >>>safe<<< food supply?" "We do." stretch across the top. At the bottom: "-Monsanto"

It makes me smile.
And sick to my stomach.

Doublespeak, they say one thing but mean another...in this case, the movie they say safe, secure, etc it means they are going to kill her.
