Clinton´s War In Colombia A Big Mistake - Statistics showing cocaine exports from Colombia doubled on the Clinton
President Clinton´s once keen sense of avoiding dangerous entanglements abroad has failed him in Colombia. The White House has pushed forward a supersized military aid package that is now driven by politics and pork rather than by coherent strategy to help that South American nation.

Let´s stipulate: Colombia´s problems are severe. The government of President Andres Pastrana deserves U.S. sympathy and support in its overlapping campaigns against Marxist guerrillas, drug smugglers and the worst elements of its own military -- three forces that also overlap and at times cooperate.

Please. It wasn´t a war on drug dealers. Only drug dealers not contributing to the Clinton Financial Welfare fund.

Re: Clinton´s War In Colombia A Big Mistake - Statistics showing cocaine exports from Colombia doubled on the Clinton
Oh yea!

Just don´t you know, Clinton is Bush Sr. best little buddy now days!

Ooooops! I just remembered the little Iran/Contra crap, with the little contra boys trafficing cocain into the USA by way of airstrips into guess where.....Mena Arkansas!

Bush Sr. and Clinton are tied at the hip you idiot!

Or have you not ever read Mike Levine book or go to the website of Cele Castillo.

Alitte of Mike Levine´s background....
(He investigated organized crime operations as a special agent with the IRS Intelligence Division. He was later a special agent for the ATF and then assistant group supervisor for the U.S. Customs Service Hard Narcotics Smuggling Division. In 1973, he began a 17-year hitch with the DEA.)

Both these men where DEA agents and tell a very indepth story of how the COCAIN is traffic into the USA and who/what certain govt. agent groups are helping to that end!

Some Drug war facts for you all.....
copied and pasted facts:

Without the Honduran military there would have been no Contras. $14 million [to finance arms] came from drugs." [through Honduras.] - Oliver North´s diary 7/5/85.- Oliver North then intervened to get an absurdly lenient sentence for General Jose Bueso-Rosa, convicted of smuggling tons of cocaine into the U.S.

"We don´t need to investigate [C.I.A.´s role in drug dealing]. We already know. The evidence is there." - Jack Blum, former Chief Counsel to John Kerry´s Subcommittee on Narcotics and Terrorism in 1996 Senate Hearings. - The Medellin Cartel gave more than $10 million to the contras.

In my 30 year history in DEA, the major targets of my investigations almost invariably turned out to be working for the CIA." - Dennis Dayle, Chief of an elite DEA unit in Central America.

"With respect to [drug trafficking by] the resistance forces... it is not a couple of people. It is a lot of people." - Alan Fiers former CIA deputy for Central American ops.

FOUR FIRMS LISTED BY DEA AS MAJOR SMUGGLING OPERATIONS WERE ON CIA´s LIST OF APPROVED VENDORS AND EACH RECEIVED HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN STATE DEPARTMENT SUBSIDIES WHILE THEY WERE DEALING DRUGS: DIACSA - SETCO - VORTEX - FRIGORIFICOS DE PUNTARENAS.

Miguel Felix Gallardo and Rafael Caro-Quintero supplied the contras with guns and money. Caro ran a Contra training camp in Veracruz. Together they smuggled 4 tons of cocaine a month into the U.S. Both were later tied to the murder of DEA agent Kiki Camarena.

THESE ARE SOME OF THE PILOTS WHO FLEW DRUGS ON CIA PROTECTED FLIGHTS INTO THE U.S.:

Michael Palmer * Werner Stoltz * Floyd Carlton * Bill Cooper * Tosh Plumley * Marcos Aguado * Bo Abbott * Gerardo Duran * Pat Foley * Frank Moss * Tito Carrasco * Barry Seal * John Allen * Cesar Rodriguez * Teofilo Watson * Alfredo Caballero * Gary Betzner

CIA FUNDED AIRLINES CONNECTED WITH DRUG OR WEAPONS SMUGGLING:

So. Air Transport * SETCO * EVERGREEN * Hondu Carib * Arrow Air

IN A COURT OF LAW THE STRONGEST FORM OF DIRECT EVIDENCE IS TESTIMONY BY EYEWITNESSES. THE FOLLOWING ARE EYEWITNESSES TO CIA DRUG TRAFFICKING WHO HAVE NEVER BEEN ALLOWED TO TESTIFY:

Celerino Castillo (DEA) * Michael Ruppert (LAPD)* Mike Levine (DEA) * Bill Tyree (Spl forces) * John Mattes (Fed. Pub Defender) * Dee Ferdinand * Jack Terrell (Contra supporter) * Anabelle Grimm (DEA) Brad Ayers (DEA) * Bo Abbott (Air America) * Tosh Plumley (CIA) * Ralph McGehee (CIA) * Lt Col. Bo Gritz (ret.) (US Army Spl. Forces) * Dr. David Sabow, MD (brother of murdered Marine Col. Jim Sabow) *Dois G. (Chip) Tatum (CIA) * Gene Wheaton (Army CID)
................................................................................................
My comments:

So if this idiot that posted that drug trafficing increased just because Clinton let it happen, then that is partly correct, but the govt. complicity in letting the drug traffic scene build, goes way back to the Vietnam war era and yes it increased during Bush Sr. administration also and Bill Clinton was Bush´s backup during that time.

If any idiot is going to try and make the rise in drug trafficing a poltical issue then you have to blame every administration , going all the way back to the 1960´s

One last comment about the Drug War farce......

About 1 trillion dollars in Drug trafficing money goes directly into the US economy and if that were suddenly cut off, the economy would certainly drop in the tank like a 10 ton rock

Re: Clinton´s War In Colombia A Big Mistake - Statistics showing cocaine exports from Colombia doubled on the Clinton
...as anyone can see, clinton and bushco are bedfellows (maybe literally) in the "aid" business...

...the wars alluded to in this thread were initiated FOR control of the drug manufacturing and distribution markets...is it surprising to anyone that since 1980 or so the drug wars or war on drugs/just say no was a front for massive funding of military attack weapons and deployment strictly and primarily to establish bushco CONTROL of the drug market for cocaine...

herion and harder stuff opium and all had already established routes and financing thru chicago a family of criminals that bushco could not crack...including the red chinese secret police networks operating in this country also primarily thru chicago...

besides the conclusion that obviously trillions of taxpayer money have been funneled thru the war on drugs nothing has been done to stop the drugs coming into and all around this country, and the distributors and the growers are getting richer by the dozen...

...all those drug busts along the southwest border with mexico are nothing more than elimination of the competition...

...surely you did not think that the homeland security wiretaps and bugging operations are directed solely toward locating al queida did you?

and all the tortures going on worldwide and carried out by the cia or military...you dont think these efforts are only directed at suicide bombers did you?

all this stuff is to extract the names and identities of drug dealers, producers, and existing distrubitor networks...because bushco wants and needs this information to carry on their worldwide conquests...

...you really did not think this was only about the oil did you?

...the biggest lie is right before you every day!
