I'm still shaking with excitement. Anyway, I was just heading across my landing to go downstairs, when I saw a glint of light in the sky. It was quite faint, and I hoped it was a satelite. I ran downstairs for my bins, ran back up, and once focused, was in awe at what I was looking at. It was a large, silver ball, with a smaller, red ball, seemingly spinning around the larger silver one. I watched it for about 5 minutes, as it hovered (Or appeared to) in the bright blue sky. Then it started moving toward the direction of the town my family lives in. I phoned a friend of mine who lives toward Bradford (And has various dslr's) to see if he could spot anything, and perhaps take a a few snaps. He couldn't see a thing, but i'm unsure if he was even positioned correctly to see the portion of sky I was viewing. As i'm speaking to him, I catch another glare in the sky. Looked through the binos, and there I saw a large, Golden ball. I estimate it was twice the size of the first object I witnessed (That had travelled out of my view). I was shaking with excitement. I screamed at my mate that I had seen another, and told him I would phone him back. Again, I watched the golden ball for about 5 minutes. All of a sudden, another silver ball appeared in my view through the bins (with smaller, orbiting red ball). I don't believe it to be the same object as the first, as that had travelled quite a distance from the position I was looking at. I watched the "sit" next to each other for a few minutes, when my friend called back to ask if I could try take a shot of the objects with my phone (HTC Evo3d) through the bins. I was unable to do so, I couldn't keep either unit steady while trying to focus, and by the time I had stopped messing, the objects were gone. This occurred about 2 and a half hours ago (2:20pm GMT)and I am located in West Yorkshire, England. Did anybody else happen to spot these objects? |
