I have no idea what happened but from what I've read I feel he was justified in his action. That's where my support for Zimmerman stops. Just years ago he was on the "other side" complaining about racism and favoritism in the police department and callig for people to be fired. Now he's getting a taste of his own medicine. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 14083606 United States 04/09/2012 10:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I cannot imagine ANYONE contributing good money for something like this, regardless of whether he's "innocent" or not. There are hard-working, decent people all over America who, for whatever reasons, have hardships and adversity and no one gives a damn about them. There are people with no family, friends who are caught up in their own struggles, maybe they've lost their jobs after 20 years, their health is bad, all kind of reasons . . . where is THEIR help? And people will actually give a damn and some dollars to the Zimmerman fund. So frigging stupid. And so when Zimmerman gets his book and movie deal - are all of you going to reap those profits along with him??!!! |

[link to articles.orlandosentinel.com] The article does a decent job detailing it but it's mostly derailed by the current Tyrone killing. I initially heard it on Mark Levin, he offered a lot more information and gave a lot of time to the discussion. If you're really interested in it I'd suggest finding a place to listen to his previous shows. |

I don't think there should be any legal ramifications for him acting to protect his life. When it comes to his current hardship, that's just a reminder that when you lie with dogs you rise with fleas. Two of the officers he tried to get fired are still working there, and were involved with the current incident. |

Yeah there's more information about the rally's he arranged, the police officers still working there, etc. It's just hard to find. Google how does George Zimmerman like his steak and it's 990,764 results about Trayvon and the new black panther party. Looking for anything beyond the current incident is a chore. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 14105729 United States 04/10/2012 06:53 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Has this guy gone off his rocker??? Even if you agree with his self defense claims, These quotes are inappropriate and may come back to bite him. "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil, is that good men do nothing. - Edmund Burke." That makes him seem proud??? WTH??? "A thousand words will not leave so deep an impression as one deed" - Henrik, Ibsen Like Kill someone??? WTF??? Then he post a pic of the graffiti spray painted on the black cultural Center. Is he trying to defend himself or fan the flames? This makes him look worse. It at least shows bad judgement a narcissist personality. Not a good thing to show when your trying to convince everyone you used sound mind. This makes him seem more like racist vigilante than anything thats come out before. |

Yes you're right. Zimmerman was fighting against the obvious racism that runs rampant in white police officers of Stanford. He did such positive things, he passed out pamphlets, led protests, started a media smear campaign calling for arrests in the name of "mob justice." Now the same people in the community he tried to align himself with are doing it to him and he don't like it very much. I bet he felt so proud when the black supremacist groups congratulated and thanked him for his work. It's black and brown vs white racism, they got his back, he's one of them now. LOL It's hard to find a better example of poetic justice than that. |
