I totally expected that to be some gay youtube video. That was truly amazing. Music and sound frequency are so interconnected with our lives its hard to imagine life without it.

True story.

My grandmother spent the last year or so of her life in a nursing home. On many occasions my visit was during/just after lunch for the residents. Each visit, as I walked by the lunchroom, they would be playing (quite loudly) rap music. Rap music while the workers fed and attended to the residents. Rap music while they cleaned up after lunch.

Nothing against rap, but I don't know of many seniors who listen to rap on a daily basis. I'm sure they would've preferred more soothing music, or perhaps something from their own era, music that could have brought back good memories from times long past. It was a sad place.

I try to always play music for my elderly clients, their kids turn it off when they show up, but hey, I turn it back on when I can. Compassion helps one get ideas, wish more workers could get in touch with it.

Another reason why suicide clinics need to be in every city worldwide. The guy is a vegetable and is better off dead, IMO. It's sad to watch people get a rise out of him by playing his favorite music. 10 years in a nursing home! It's ridiculous. What's the point of keeping him alive? Let him rest in peace!

i was at a nursing home a week ago and visited with my freind she is 96 yrs old now and doesnt remember me , i held her hand and told i love her over and over. i cried and realised while walking out ,just how much we need each other we do we need each other.
