When that date fails, it may be recalculated again. After that, there will be other doom dates, such as close approaches by asteroids, more rapture predictions, etc. It'll just keep going and going until something does actually happen, such as a major war with another large nation (from the US perspective), a direct hit from a nearby gamma ray burst, etc. I'd prefer to waste whatever time I have left with my family and friends rather than continuously worrying what the next doom event may be and how it may occur. Of course, the fact that I even visit GLP in the first place kind of contradicts that. |

Quagmire.....its funny that I feel the same way re family but I also believe it is better to ask questions and be aware of what is happening around us. Whether it is manipulation by TPTB, earth changes, alternative history & science I will always be asking questions and trying to improve my understanding. Its the guys/girls who are screaming from rooftops and so sure of what they are saying is TRUTH. Some are doing it for money and some for ego and still others out of fear. They are in for a letdown if doom doesnt occur as they have declared. |

I'm sure you've seen the movie "2012". They were on a freakin' camping trip with no cares in the world when it all started going down. I know that's just a movie but it will be that fast. If you want to know about the timeline, all you have to do is read the book of Revelation. If you want to know the signs leading UP to the count down, read Matthew 24 (if you don't have a Bible, find one or check one out at the library). In that chapter, Jesus says the times we live in will be "like the days of Noah where they will be eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage until the day the door to the Ark shut and they were all carried away by the flood." That sounds like it goes from "normal" to "run for your life" in one day. Guess we won't know until that day gets here, whether it's this year or not. Best thing to do until then is use the remaining time to get to know God and His Son, Jesus. Your only protection will come from them.  |
