Quoting: zip50 If that is the truth, I wish I had carried it out. It is not the first time I have experienced the vibrating, but that was the strongest and longest I have ever felt it. Would that be considered lucid dreaming? Start of full on "leaving the body" type astral adventures/OOBE. It might take you a while to adjust, it's a bit confronting at first but you'll soon learn to love it. Just try to relax and try to pull yourself out next time it happens. |

Would that be considered lucid dreaming? The vibrations often occur during lucid dreaming. Lots of crazy things have been happening to me especially these past 6 months. I know what you mean, the first time I felt my body vibrating I just opened myself up to it and relaxed so it would last longer. I have had obe's, lots of people confuse obe's with sleep paralysis...but it completly different.I am also having experiences that I dont even know how to put into words. You are not alone. It is nice to see that I have company on this ride....its going to be interesting to see where it takes us. Quoting: Roni 1961299 Yes, it will be interesting. I would love to hear more about what has been happening to you. I had a very sad day yesterday. My best friend left yesterday to move to Florida. I wonder if that might have triggered what happened. I also wonder if someone sleeping beside the one vibrating can feel it. I cannot imagine that they couldn't. This also only happens to me during a daytime nap or right before I wake up in the morning. Maybe it happens more often and I am just in such a deep sleep that I don't know it. |

The vibrations are harmless and often occur during the onset of an OBE. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14847045 ^^^^THIS^^^^ Ummm...and I thought it was always my GF's Pleasure device that she left on... I was vibrating so hard that the bed started to shake...so much that I thought maybe it was an earthquake. As soon as I began to awaken fully, it stopped. Quoting: zip50 Can anyone explain this? we are fully in the current lap of the WAVE. all of us sensitive to it are vibrating more than usual and this one is stronger and perhaps will cause more vibrating in matter too. Whole-body vibration is a neuromuscular training method that uses a low- to moderate-vibration stimulus to improve muscular strength and power. During the most frequently used mode of whole-body vibration training, a client stands on a vibrating platform and performs unloaded exercises, such as squats or lunges, for durations ranging from multiple 1-minute sessions to continuous 30-minute sessions. (OP) User ID: 25869708 United States 04/19/2014 08:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Ok, it just happened to me again and I think I just had my first OBE. I was taking a nap on the couch and I started to feel my body vibrate. I started to wake myself up and then thought I would ride it out to see if I could have an OBE. I will try to explain it the best I can. I was vibrating harder than I ever have. Like your phone vibrates times 1000. My whole body. I just rode it for awhile and then thought about trying to leave my body. I then sat up on the edge of the couch. I stood up and felt VERY light on my feet. I walked around the room a little, then thought I heard a noise in the kitchen so I went running in there. This gets weird.....I kinda leapt up in the air and landed easily on my feet. I know, that sounds weird. Then I came back in the den and was standing by my desk looking out the window. It was like the top of my vision was dark and I saw very white spots in my vision where it was dark. Then I saw myself in the windows reflection BEHIND me. There were 2 or 3 of me like I was looking back in time a few seconds to where I had been standing in the room before I walked over by the window. I know, that does not make much sense...hard to describe. Then I started to wake up on the couch. I was VERY surprised to find myself still on the couch. What may have triggered this is that I was listening to Eckhart Tolle earlier today on the radio while driving. I was trying to stay in the present moment, and not let my mind wander. Back when I first felt the vibrations, I was really into Tolle's stuff. Then I drifted away from it. Last Edited by zip50 on 04/19/2014 09:00 PM |
