Charlie Jade

This series is about parallel universes. Well written, filmed in South Africa, the characters and story-lines are believable, and the story-lines have hidden layers of depth.

Re: A good sci/fi series please.
i was just about to post Charlie Jade.

and one of the best not mentioned here: The Prisoner (original).

what i dont understand, space: above and beyond??? totally pointless teenage soldiers shooting and following orders. i think its rubbish. not worth watching at all.
my opinion... and i've seen nearly all mentioned here so far.

i find babylon 5 the best one.

Yeah, not the new crap. There are no words for how bad it is.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1288297

Agreed!

Only the old Doctor Who is any use.

The modern stuff is appalling. David Tennant totally sucks, and is a ham actor of the worst stamp!

The last great Doctor was Jon Pertwee.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15046899

David Tennant is no longer the Doctor, its Matt Smith.
I believe David Tennant was the best but I'm only 20 so what do I know.
“When you call yourself an Indian or a Muslim or a Christian or a European, or anything else, you are being violent. Do you see why it is violent? Because you are separating yourself from the rest of mankind. When you separate yourself by belief, by nationality, by tradition, it breeds violence. So a man who is seeking to understand violence does not belong to any country, to any religion, to any political party or partial system; he is concerned with the total understanding of mankind.”

yeah i just watched that one, it was good!

have you seen 'the colony' (discovery channel) yet? post apocalyptic survival scenario. like a reality show, and the alternative energy stuff they make is AMAZING!!!

i can't believe so many people are saying bab5 and crappy ass shows like that. certainly weeds out the TRUE sci fi fans from the wanna be's LOL!!!!

i love watching movies and shows from other countries, i find they have WAY more integrity than US. dunno if you like horror, but there's a french film called 'frontiers' you might like!

Check out te "Firefly" series. It is awesome! Kind of a cross between Star Trek and Gunsmoke, if you remember that oldie! They have a full length feature film that follows the first season, and it's called "Serinity". Wild adventures, superb charictors, and grand cinemitography.
