All depends on the person. Personally, I slow down a lot while high but one or two days later after smoking and I'll be fine. I'm curious whether it has had any long term effects on me. My ability to learn new things has been effected I think.

I always respect your opinions Brief however I must say I wasn't getting anywhere until I started smoking. Now I'm able to process more than I ever have before. I'm in a highly technical job doing Loss Prevention and Software programming and it has done nothing but help my in my career. Now on the flip side if I was to have kids I wouldn't let them smoke the shit until they were out of school because I believe those that use it before they hit adulthood allow the effects to envelope them to much and most don't understand moderation. Hell it's been shown nowadays some of the strangest things done in moderation can have very beneficial effects. If your smoking all day and all night 7 days a week without giving your brain anytime to balance out yeah your going to be stupid but I believe like most things it can be used as an effective tool. Hell I've seen Acid turn stupid people into amazing CEO's in as little as a year... I'm not claiming I know the answer to all this but my personal experience differs on a different path. Hell maybe we are both right.

And I've seen highly intelligent people that smoke. One of them is a millionaire.

Some people are smart and some not so much. Has nothing to do with smoking pot in my experience.
