Re: How do groceries get so much perfect food?
This world is one of duality. So if one seeks out the creator of this world and the evidences left in it...one might notice all these counterfeit or similar things that hide the real things... like fake agencies, giving fake standards, so fake food can come to your neighborhood, with the help of fake laws made by fake establishment people. Haven't you noticed nothing is real anymore because the people bought the fake stuff and wonder why they have problems they are having, like fake terror. Of course it all appears initiated as real life, but it is fake you are sold on and buy up. So real is hard to find.

Years and years ago when you went to the store you had to sit and pick out the good fruits and veggies from the bin, because some were rotting, had blemishes, insect marks. BUT today they look like they came out of a magazine...Thats cause the Food is NOT REAL and it has no taste.

I dont care if others make fun of me.

I know the TRUTH !

I was visited in the field by a 25 foot craft, It spent time with me , just them and I after they followed my car down a dirt road. It let me get close to it cause I had known they were watching me for a few weeks.

I also saw how they use Quantum portals in the sky, It zips open in golden light like a zipper and they then go anywhere they want to. They showed me.

And there are other things I cant mention here.

At least I know the truth.

So if the Perfect food we are eating from the grocery store is from the matrix then wouldn't the food you would be growing be from the matrix a well? isn't everything the matrix or just the stuff you want to believe the matrix? or maybe the food you ate when you where a kid that had all the imperfections in it was a matrix computer glich and they fixed the code so now our matrix food looks good but lost some flavor. Maybe you should go buy some vegatable seeds and grow a garden and if the vegatables and fruits come out alot nicer looking than what the did back in the day. Then maybe you have fixed code matrix veggies and fruits.I personally would rather have not so perfect looking fruits & veggies that are full of flavor than perfect ones that taste bland. Maybe the matrix techs should change the code back.

More realistically OP should do tours of the entire supply chain of where his food comes from.

That would actually be easier than you think, but would take work, and isn't nearly as easy as making up some crazy shit to explain why things get to the store and don't look like they come from a garden.

Re: How do groceries get so much perfect food?
There have been great leaps in the progress of agricultural science in the last couple centuries, i.e. hybridization, careful selection of genetically superior strains, soil chemistry, insecticides, antifungals, greenhouse technology, specialization of specific produce in ideal geographic areas or climates.

There has also been tremendous progress in the local, regional, national, and global coordination of commodity production, i.e. monstrous multinational corporations such as ADM, ConAgra, Kraft, Dole, etc coordinated through both government and NGO commodity agencies; redundant crop production in both hemispheres to offset for the seasons; etc.

Refrigeration technology has also advanced tremendously.

Most importantly, in our computer age, there's incredible global coordination in logistics and shipping.

Then of course, to complete the picture, there is the chemicals, genetic manipulation, cloning, irradiation, and other evil crap that improves damage resistance, appearance, and shelf-life of produce.

If you're serious about thinking that TPTB pull food out of a matrix cornucopia, then you watch WAY too much T.V. and movies, I think. Huge cloning laboratories for seeds? Probably. Giant industrial sized food replicators? Ridiculous.

I'd also like to know why he thinks cloning is somehow evil.

Humans have been cloning plants for thousands of years.

The vast, vast majority of GMOs are done so not via plucking around with the genetic code, but splicing various plants together. It's a very slightly more advanced form of breeding, in most cases. Many exceptions aside, but humans have been modifying nature for time immemorial. It's something we do, like hyperintelligent beavers.

Any GMO that isn't basically something farmers have done on their own with enough time and resources, (IE directly modifying genetic code), is extensively tested. Mostly that's the crap from Monsanto that is resistant to pesticides/herbicides, and it isn't evil because it's poison, but because of the patent crap and lawsuits to farmers.

I remember when I was a kid, we'd get corn on the co fab and there would usually be lots of bad places in it, or bugs inside. Now, every ear is perfect, no bugs, and the silk just comes right off. Same with potatoes

your family was obviously really bad farmers. i grew up on a small farm too.

If you can get local corn it's sweeter and more juicy, but still prone to the bugs and the odd weird ear.

When it's in season it's the only way to go. You pay a little bit more for it, and it isn't perfect, and there's no damn way we could feed the world with it...but "artisan" style stuff is nice sometimes.

they don't really come from a garden, most of this fake food is grown on structures wich replicate a garden (out of the ground they provides the plants chemicals and nutrients so it produces seeds and fruits).

also why all is exactly identical is because they don't like how earth works, if you are really wired with nature and just observe her, you will see how in the same tree for ex the fruits are the same (it's the same tree so same fruits right) but totally different (not the same taste, not the same shape, not the same color etc).

how do you define this one? FREEDOM
 Quoting: Monbazillac

You can still buy food that isn't grown in highly controlled environments.

I like having the freedom not to pay out my ass for everything I eat. Nor could we feed everyone on the planet using fully holistic methods.

The lack of diversity and a reluctance to use more expensive methods of crop rotation are significant concerns however. Perhaps some regulation is required on that front.

I should also note that those products are not completely identical either, they're just more homogenized. A cherry tree growing in someone's back yard isn't going to grow the same tasting or shaped cherries as one grown in a field. It should be damn close if it's the same species, but not identical. No two things in existence are perfectly (down to the Planck length) identical. That's impossible.

And there is no evidence that the planet is a cohesive entity beyond the fact it's a bunch of rock with things living on it. Calling it "her" is silly and places an irrational emotional connection to something that spends a good deal of its energy trying to kill you (many organisms living on this planet). You may as well refer to any celestial body in the same way.

Stop that nonsense, it's not conductive to analyzing the problems we face rationally.

I suppose there's the "spaceship Earth" argument, but we don't tend to apply the "her" moniker on something we haven't built ourselves.

It may sound ludicrous to some, but its EXACTLY whats happening in the real world!

It is NOT about you or me as humankind, its what we represent to them, and thats profits! What they are doing to livestock, they're now essentially doing to us!

$Billion/Trillion$ ownership rights to the planet has put numbers on all of our heads, and the reason so many are being discarded in recent years to unemployment is because GREED sees cost effectiveness in a completely different way!

I kind of feel sorry for anyone that actually believes this.

Particularly the "they" part.

The vast majority of the world's problems are emergent properties from all of our cultures, not designed ones by people running the whole show.

I suppose in some way it must be comforting, I guess, to think someone really has the power to run the whole shebang...but they don't. There's people with vast power, no question, but human civilization is a constantly evolving organism, not a puppet being pulled by a few strings.

Plenty of history behind that one. I doubt the world has ever been as unified by a single vision as it was under the Caesars. And even then, it was massively disconnected and organic.

Really depends on "need" from each location. The store I worked at had at least 1 truck per night coming in. Others have one 2-3 times per week and the same will go with eateries. The main regional hubs where trucks come from are huge. Ours came from one of these.

SUPERVALU operates one of the largest grocery supply chain networks in the country with more than 21 million square feet of facilities strategically located to support our coast-to-coast retail operations and customers.

 Quoting: Sedi

Every major city and town needs tons of food daily. I still dont see the number of required delivery trucks that would be required of this magnitude.

Im just a crazy guy that wants to break free from the matrix, lol
 Quoting: ABADDON - APOLLYON .

That's because you are asleep when trucks deliver pallets of food to the grocery stores.. Each store gets up to four warehouse deliveries a night (give or take)... Dairy, produce, and regular grocery.. Think how many stores are in your city.. No traffic on the roads late at night.... Not rocket science here...
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5682902

Nope, I worked nights at a restaurant till 3 am, and Ive been on the road at all nights from 1-5 am in the morning.

Delivery trucks come at night, yes, But Im saying, my point is, it isnt enough. It isnt enough to justify

Were just brainstorming here,

I know stuff in the military (secrets) that 99 percent of the public does not know.

Ive had friends in NASA that told me stuff that would make you pee your pants and blow your mind

Im just certain theres a food conspiracy and Im trying to figure it out.

oh really? this planet can produce and sustain life in many forms, last time i checked, the moon was a sterile rock not capable to do the same...

you have a psycho problem with her, of course there is an emotional connection and no this is not irrational, what is irrational is to think because you have a brain you can be a god or at least as intelligent as this planet wich is a lie.

deal with her rules or be fucked, simple as this, btw she's not asking for anything except respect.

the problem we are facing really is this, no roots and people are like ducks without their heads running on a field because they are lost!

science cannot replace life and deshumanization is a demented idea, want to kill your soul?
you cannot do this you know, life = soul you cannot cut the link only understand it and find why life exist.

this is our home time to grow and see what is real and what is not.

does earth lie to us? no
does earth want us to worship her? no
does earth need us? no
so she can live without us but she doesn't want to destroy us, you are the irrational one saying we are her nemesis.

who put this moronic idea in your brain?
earth is sentient yes because she can sustain life you cannot say this for every planets around us.

btw if you don't even try you are just lying to yourself, earth can gave enough stuff at one condition: respect her, follow her teaching and don't deny she is sentient.

life is simple really simple, try it.

Re: How do groceries get so much perfect food?
I dunno.. I have noticed the quality of vegetables getting better and better for some time

It always makes me think of Monsanto et al and the genetic modification of crops
 Quoting: CelticLegends

The quality doesn't get better. Only the look. But the taste and nutritious qualities are shit.

It's because 99% of the consumers buy based on the look and not taste, so the industry pleases them.

List of Foods That Are Commonly Irradiated [link to www.livestrong.com] this has been going on for years am i the only one that remembers when they first came out with this
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15301223

Thanks for bringing that to attention, we are so fucked. I wonder what percentage of the stuff listed is actually irradiated. It's not fully required is it??

Looks like we need to push for labeling of this too on top of GMOs.......
No one is perfect. A babe before walking will first stumble and fall many times but NEVER gives up until he succeeds.

Always remember, ultimately, to never follow any person's belief. Your relationship with God is between you and God.

If nothing else, remember this: religion = subservience, control and conformity, the same template as EVERY government

"Most believers would kill truth if truth threatened their religion." L. K. Washburn

"This crime called blasphemy was invented by priests for the purpose of defending doctrines not able to take care of themselves." Robert Ingersoll

"If anyone wants to know how God feels, it's a warm light as if the sun is poking through dark clouds and lifting your spirits with pure joy."

Re: How do groceries get so much perfect food?
The corn is Monsanto (GMO)

Many of the other veggies and fruits have been messed with in other ways as well (though not to the degree of Monsanto, which I don't consider food).

Ugly ones still happen and they are used in all the processed food people buy, and restaurant food.

Got a malformed fish from the gulf? Don't try to sell it in the seafood-on-ice section. Make fishsticks! Crab? crabcakes! Mutant tomato? Slices for your big mac! A buggy garlic crop, despite all the mounds of poison you dumped on it? Garlic crisps!

Look at the organic fruits and veggies, those ones represent real food. They can look a little bruised and wilty to the unaccustomed eye - and they do rot faster, so you have to be more careful to avoid the overripe ones and eat them fairly quickly after buying. But if you never try them, just do a little experiment with yourself. buy some - and some of their non-organic counterpart. Prepare both the same way and sample from each in the same meal. You will notice that they have about 5-500 times the taste (depending on food item/procedure).

Re: How do groceries get so much perfect food?
I just got back from a road trip and wondered how all the groceries, restaurants, and other food sellers in the US get so much "perfect" looking food - how can there be so many perfect tomatoes in every store, enough to feed the entire US population and even more than enough because so much is wasted?

Is it because this food is not real? Think about it -- new fruits and vegetables are delivered constantly - how can there by that many being grown to fill all these grocery stores? It must be a fake. It's not like that in most other countries. So I conclude the US is not real, we are in a matrix, if you will, and the food is a fake based on past memories, and that's why it has no taste or if it does have taste, it's got plenty of MSG and "natural flavorings" --

And why is all the food unblemished? When you grow things in a garden, they have lots of bad parts, and they don't look like a magazine picture, the way the fruits and vegetables look at the grocery store, all shiny and perfect.

I remember when I was a kid, we'd get corn on the cob and there would usually be lots of bad places in it, or bugs inside. Now, every ear is perfect, no bugs, and the silk just comes right off. Same with potatoes. We'd even get potato chips that had bad places on them, green spots. Now, every chip is perfect. What's up with all this?

Very true. Good observation. Reality... does not make sense.
It's a matrix. The food amount at my local Walmart alone, that is stocked in a 2 week span, could feed and entire 3rd world country for 1 year easily. Delivery trucks are minimal at best. Where does all that food come from exactly?

And don't even get me started on the amount that goes to waste and expires. As nearly 1/3 of the planet starves or lives in poverty.

Your thread is INDEED... FOOD FOR THOUGHT.

Or is it... Food made by thought... via the matrix.

Realty is not real. Funny huh?

Uhm, no.

Monsanto and other factory farms are unfortunately very, VERY, real.

The "food" they make in such vast quantities...well it's not so real... it really exists, but it's not really food. :(
