Re: How do groceries get so much perfect food?
I just got back from a road trip and wondered how all the groceries, restaurants, and other food sellers in the US get so much "perfect" looking food - how can there be so many perfect tomatoes in every store, enough to feed the entire US population and even more than enough because so much is wasted?

Is it because this food is not real? Think about it -- new fruits and vegetables are delivered constantly - how can there by that many being grown to fill all these grocery stores? It must be a fake. It's not like that in most other countries. So I conclude the US is not real, we are in a matrix, if you will, and the food is a fake based on past memories, and that's why it has no taste or if it does have taste, it's got plenty of MSG and "natural flavorings" --

And why is all the food unblemished? When you grow things in a garden, they have lots of bad parts, and they don't look like a magazine picture, the way the fruits and vegetables look at the grocery store, all shiny and perfect.

I remember when I was a kid, we'd get corn on the cob and there would usually be lots of bad places in it, or bugs inside. Now, every ear is perfect, no bugs, and the silk just comes right off. Same with potatoes. We'd even get potato chips that had bad places on them, green spots. Now, every chip is perfect. What's up with all this?

It's not fake. It's still food but now it's 'engineered' food. Did you read that article where they say Apples in average grocery stores are about a year old on average? That's why if you insist on local, chances are you will get 'slightly' fresher food. This trend of every produce being available throughout the year is what's driving it. What's wrong with enjoying fruits 1-2 months during the year when they are available fresh and use frozen version rest of the year? Do people really think apples and carrots grow everyday of the year?

Again, I'll repeat what I've posted several times in this thread...much to the denial of everyone...

Reality is NOT real.

The food example is a perfect example as many have stated above. It simply does not make sense.

My local Walmart sells pre packed apple slices... from Indonesia. So... you mean to tell me, that they grow, slice and package the apples from overseas... then drive it to an airport, and fly it to america, where it is driven to a warehouse source, before it is sent out to Walmart. To sell to me for $1.50.

Think about the ridiculousness of that concept. Just in theory alone. Not to mention other things like time, freshness, fuel and cost. It's not efficent. It's NOT Logical.

Why not just plant an apple tree in a small greenhouse in the massive space that walmart has? So many more logical and efficent ways to do things...but it is NEVER the case.

WHY?

Most people do NOT question what is going on and why. It's amazing.

Things like tomatoes and bananas are pulled well before they are ripe, and then they are packed and stored and have a gas sprayed on them to mature them very quickly.
We get 9 cases of extremely green bananas in, and by the next day they are all yellow, and going downhill fast.

I had the same thoughts on the screen ! One night I was sitting in the parking lot at the hardware store, I was admiring the stars from my car when I noticed a few stars dropped from the sky to come in closer to me !

I was like, WTF? and noticed this star flying close to the building and then it took off to follow me when I drove away, The people I was riding with were pointing to it.

As to the rest of the sky, It shifted so all the stars started moving abnormally

From our vantage point, the stars are supposed to be so many light years away that a few blocks down the road should not change that perspective until the earth rotates.

I know many have a telescope, I do too , but I have a explanation for it,,

Anyways, if this is a stage show. Maybe the church is right, the earth is flat. lol

At least this would explain why many say the Moon landing was a stage set.

See how you ignored the logic part of it?

Simply dismiss it as chemicals. And return to your sheeple ways.

My point is... there's no apples in America? That they need to go to Mexico or Asia to get pre sliced apples? it makes no sense.

Even things like pasta sauce. It's bottled many states away.
Manufactered far from local sources. Do you have any idea the trucking/shipping rate would be for so many places?

As others have stated... I'm out in the middle of night...and RARELY see delivery trucks. The delivery and manufacturing rate does not seem to meet the consumption and avalibilty rate. It make NO SENSE.

If it was about cost and fuel and timing... it makes even less sense if you think about it.

So my local walmart is getting deliveries from DOZENS if not HUNDREDS of different sources daily and weekly? And that's just for 1 store! Not to mention resteraunts and other supermarkets.

If every store did this, nationwide...Daily, Weekly... the roads would be cluttered with delivery trucks 24/7. You'd almost ALWAYS see one coming or going from somewhere.

Are you ALL BLIND to the fact that reality is NOT REAL?

I also like the cemetary example as well, btw.

I have some savant abilities on calculating numbers and logistics,

Its a total FAIL their profit model. There is no way to get a profit. The waste involved of the over production and unsold food is staggering

No one even contemplates how big the USA is, how many thousands of cities, Millions of stores and restaurants. The gasoline, timing involved and everything,

Yes, many are in trucking business in a grueling schedule and in farming and shipments,

But Im still confirming that it cannot be profitable if you take everything into account.

I believe the compensation comes from somewhere else (profit wise) Even the Government admits they pay the farmers to simply keep them afloat. Many of them dont make money.

Since you asked, let's do the math

You can produce 4 lbs apples for a dollar in Indonesia (walmart does contract farming and so does every large grocer)..that's about 10 apples. so the cost of 1 apple is 10 cents. Shipping costs 40 cents for two pounds from Indonesia (approx.)so that's about 8 cents per apple. cutting and packaging are usually about 5 cents per apple. spraying chemicals and growth regulators will be about 15 cents per apple.
So now you have a bag that has a full apple, cut and packaged with all necessary chemicals to keep it 'alive' for 1.5 months of shipping time and 4 months of shelf life at the US port for about 40 cents. Distribution within US will vary due to distance from port but they average it out across the country to keep prices same everywhere. Add another 20 cents for that(and that's the high end of estimate)

So...for 60 cents you have a bag of apple in the store. Now add the Carrying cost usually 30% and opportunity cost (profit they would be losing by selling something else on that shelf) and you arrive at a dollar tops for the TOTAL cost..yes, they can sell that bag to you for 1.50 and will be very very happy to sell at that price. Packaged produce is the highest margin in grocery. fresh produce margins are between 20-30%

You don't think what you see is real? Pinch yourself real hard and you'll know.

I understand what you are saying but I see it a bit differently..I see the world as millions of parallel realities and we live in one. That's all. That doesn't make it the only reality but you know what? This IS our reality. we could do meditation, yoga, out-of-body experiments to travel to another reality but we HAVE to come back to this reality. Like I said, this IS our reality.

Others can stay in the hamster cage working their little hamster wheel. Im not !

Even Initiates in Tarot describe the world as a wheel that goes round and round and round till you step off of it.

Every Gnostic is taught the allegory of platos cave in which most people live in

Wonder why they want you entertained 24/7? Why you need movies and shows and video games on your IPAD, IPHONE and Smartphone? on top of your cable and television and magazines Its cause they want to keep you hypnotized so youre not more observant on your surroundings....

Since you are clearly an illuminated one... I will share more truth. Not only is the sky a plasma screen, the moon and sun are holograms and yes, the earth is indeed flat with a dome, much like a t.v. screen. Think... Planetarium.
Many ancient cultures described the universe and earth in this way. And they were alot more advanced then most admit.

Now, imagine super advanced technology well beyond what people can concieve, much more advanced than even current black ops. A virtual world stage, complete with artifical intelligence as a populace. An interactive, augmented reality, that adapts and conforms to the will of it's main user.

As you stated... those who are initiated, would be more aware of this fact and more sensitive to glitches and easter eggs within that matrix. Very much like a fully functional video game.

The characters in the game, believe they are real and have set programs and functions to help flesh out that artifical world. Which is why so many deny that obvious fact... it is in their program to conform to their function.

This is all very high end, almost Sci-Fi concepts, but as you know... the technology is not that far from what is already being packaged with holograms, computers and games currently.

Most people simply cannot process this truth.

Shipping and distribution is archaic and moot.

The Government was testing portals in the 1950s ! This is public record. They knew how quantum physics of wormholes worked, but didnt get the full control of it, This was in 1950s.

If that was 1950s, what do they have today?

Not to mention, Did God have need of a spaceship? None of you could grasp and explain how the Bible happened way back then. Science can. He used vibrational generators to part the red sea. What was the cloud that led the Israelites out of Egypt? It was a spaceship.

How were the Egyptian blocks lifted? They were levitated.

Every Initiate knows Atlantean tech, did it just disappear under the sea?

Do you even know whats really under the sea and what the ships would watch near the bermuda triangle?

Do you know the small gold artifact flying ship toy that divers excavated from the ocean floor? Do you know how far back it was dated? (google this)

Theres a underground tunnel entrances near Bermuda, and also in Peru.

Theres also one near the coast of Japan.

 Quoting: ABADDON - APOLLYON .

Since you are clearly an illuminated one... I will share more truth. Not only is the sky a plasma screen, the moon and sun are holograms and yes, the earth is indeed flat with a dome, much like a t.v. screen. Think... Planetarium.

Whihc is why so many deny that obvious fact... it is in their program to conform to their function.

This is all very high end, almost Sci-Fi concepts, but as you know... the technology is not that far from what is already being packaged with holograms, computers and games currently.

Most people simply cannot process this truth.

Yes we should enlighten others to the truth of the matrix/show. Stay true to your beliefs. Many will literally attack you as you reveal the nature of reality to them.

They are programed to fight against us, much like blood cells attacking a virus. The wheel of time is about to stop soon, later this year. As shown in Nostradamus's lost book.

The powers of this world are dying and struggling to explain reality and maintain control as many are begining to wake up and question what is going on.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1309183

I too have experienced the food anomaly. I sometimes believe my tastebuds aren't working...which makes no sense if you think about it. But on occassion, food tastes... bland. Cardboard. Empty. Same food. Same place...but tastes... different, non existent. Or with less "flavor".

Well my conclusion is that... reality is in reverse of sorts as we have been told to believe.

We are actually living a 6th sense type reality with the
5 senses being artifically generated through our mind.

Instead of an actual 5 sense reality where we "spirtually" strive towards the 6th sense.

Sort of like being asleep and dreaming that you are walking in the snow and you "feel" cold. Or eating something that has texture. It's not real, but your brain is responding like it is. Sort of through cognitive memory and intuition.

Think of reality much like a holodeck or video game...except the "machine" is trying to make you "Feel" as if everything is as "real" as possible, this could be achieved through neurons in the brain and sensory programing.

It's very "new" technology and concepts to current mankind...but imagine if that technonogy advanced one thousand years. Would anyone be able to tell the difference between so called reality and a matrix like simulation?

The entire purpose of a matrix/hologram type program is to make the enviornment seem as real as possible. But, one would no doubt notice glitches or loops or patterns in that reality program if they were very "aware and awake".

Very much like finding hidden things (easter eggs) in a video game that sort of suggest a connection with the world outside that game or it's programmer.

Think about what you just wrote for a moment. Logically speaking it makes no sense whatsoever. If it were a math equation, the answer would not compute with the formula.

From a profit stand point, it also makes logically makes no sense. To transport food from location to location, costs alot of man power and fuel. Big business is about profit. Why would they create a system of food distributuion that in theory does not make sense for profit?

And then we get back to the core of the original message. If we are talking "fresh" produce... shipping and transit time counts towards that foods shelf life. Simply saying well, they use chemicals is a typical Sheeple answer.

Don't ask, don't tell... the truth.

If you think deeply about our food consumption and distribution process...it logically makes little sense whatsoever on many stand points.

Factor in many 3rd world countries who are grateful for clean water and a few spoonfuls of rice... how is any of this well thought out? When we have tons of food that literally goes to waste daily? Where does that all go?
Has anyone thought of that? Much like the cemetary example... garbage doesn't add up either.

The matrix is "breaking down"... like an old computer, that's hard drive is full and processor is now slow and outdated.

None of this is real. The sooner you realize that... the
sooner you wake up.

About the cemetery thing..here in India, of course, most people get cremated. But I've often wondered how do Christian and Muslim majority countries, never run out of cemetery space considering that there are a handful of cemeteries in any densely populated area..

What surprises me is that nobody wonders about this. I searched on the net and only found one questioner wondering about limited burial space. The reply he got was that bodies are stacked one upon another. Really? Does anyone have evidence of this?

And no..AC15516486..you are wrong. According to this article, the cremation rate in US is only 32 percent..

[link to jscms.jrn.columbia.edu]

So where are the 68% of all Americans who have died in last few centuries buried? I presume the number of Americans who must have died in last hundred years alone must be over 200 million. Even if their bodies were stacked one upon another, would it be possible to bury them all?

Really depends on "need" from each location. The store I worked at had at least 1 truck per night coming in. Others have one 2-3 times per week and the same will go with eateries. The main regional hubs where trucks come from are huge. Ours came from one of these.

SUPERVALU operates one of the largest grocery supply chain networks in the country with more than 21 million square feet of facilities strategically located to support our coast-to-coast retail operations and customers.

Every major city and town needs tons of food daily. I still dont see the number of required delivery trucks that would be required of this magnitude.

Im just a crazy guy that wants to break free from the matrix, lol
 Quoting: ABADDON - APOLLYON .

That's because you are asleep when trucks deliver pallets of food to the grocery stores.. Each store gets up to four warehouse deliveries a night (give or take)... Dairy, produce, and regular grocery.. Think how many stores are in your city.. No traffic on the roads late at night.... Not rocket science here...
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5682902

Nope, I worked nights at a restaurant till 3 am, and Ive been on the road at all nights from 1-5 am in the morning.

Delivery trucks come at night, yes, But Im saying, my point is, it isnt enough. It isnt enough to justify

Were just brainstorming here,

I know stuff in the military (secrets) that 99 percent of the public does not know.

Ive had friends in NASA that told me stuff that would make you pee your pants and blow your mind

Im just certain theres a food conspiracy and Im trying to figure it out.

my produce starts to get old after a few days, and its not organic and I shop at a national grocery store. where are you getting your non-spoiling produce from? I even get fruit flies in my kitchen.

I was talking to the produce guy once and he told me they make no profit from bananas, but they have them in stock cause its on most peoples grocery list. You see OP, not every item in a store makes a profit, but the store keeps it on their shelf to make it convenient for the customer and keep them coming back to increase sales on their more profitable items. he also said spinach is their biggest profit maker.
