I wasn't able to get any good shots. I had gone to a wildlife reserve to set up, but didn't realize it closed at dusk, so between point A and finding a point B, I missed getting some awesome photos. :( That's a shame, point A-B must have been miles away, anywway, let's see the poor shots, if you managed to get any between A-B that is. |

We lucked out on Long Island, NY and the clouds started breaking up just as she was rising. Was off of Whiskey Road : ) (Miller Place) It was a sight to behold. My head is buzzing already. Last night it felt like I had lots of energy surging through my system. I'm heading out shortly to see my friends RONNIE JAMES DIO TRIBUTE BAND! With a Super Full Moon no less! Gonna be very interesting to say the least. Peace and LOVE |

User ID: 1011949 Canada 05/05/2012 09:52 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | my fuzzy shot from central canada [link to img842.imageshack.us] not sure how to post pics here. - The trickster is an important archetype in the history of man. He is a god, yet he is not. He is the wise-fool. It is he, through his creations that destroy, points out the flaws in carefully constructed societies of man. He rebels against authority, pokes fun at the overly serious, creates convoluted schemes, that may or may not work, plays with the Laws of the Universe and is sometimes his own worst enemy. He exists to question, to cause us to question not accept things blindly. He appears when a way of thinking becomes outmoded needs to be torn down built anew. He is the Destroyer of Worlds at the same time the savior of us all.- - Ride The Spiral - |

(OP) User ID: 13455573 United States 05/05/2012 10:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Excellent, Jay! I went downtown to the marina, only to find the area I wanted to get to was closed off for construction. I wanted a shot with a church steeple in the background, just for kicks, and for dimension. Then, I went to a boat ramp area near my house. Low tide FTW, right? Suuuuuuure. So I walk out in my shoes (wasn't dressed for this), got a great shot of the sunset to the west (I'll upload that), heard someone yell at me (I was quite a ways out), to get in. My bad for not checking high tide time, lol. Needless to say, I took a crappy shot bugging outta there (where I was is a popular shark fishing area - as in an occasional bull shark as well). I grabbed a crappy moon shot on the way out, but for now, here's this one that I grabbed right before clouds. I'm not an expert photographer, and I hope people don't shy away from uploading. This is just to share what we see, no experts required. It's kinda sketchy because we're not allowed on that side of the boat ramp area after dark, but I did it anyway, shaky and fast. I was also actually behind people's houses at this point (this is frowned upon by waterfront owners). "Nothing is as far away as one minute ago." --Jim Bishop :gameizovar: It's DO:OM o'clock.
