silliest thread ever! We know the sun is freaking hot. Everyone knows that. There is nuclear reactions going on up there! There are elements being broken down and converted. Those kinds of reactions produce a buttload of heat. That is a fact, one that can be studied here on earth. Sure the void of space is cold. Duh. There is nothing there to hold the heat or to get hot. It is our atmosphere that traps the suns heat here and keeps us alive.
The sun is hot. It is not cold. Hot. That is a proven scientific fact.

There's literally thousands of pieces of verifiable evidence that the sun is hot. Tens of thousands. I've taken many and studied astro and nuclear physics. And so, I ask again - because science says so? Did they take a thermometer to the center of the sun and test it? Did they see the nuclear reaction occur? I assume you're either trolling or lying. You can pretend all the evedince is falsified, but if you're being honest about your education you know the answer to your questions.
