I think tons of people will die within 30 days.
Think about everyone who is on both legal and illegal drugs. People who have cancers, heart disease, pychological problems, kids with autism, people who need oxygen, pills to stay alive etc etc etc. Everyone I know is on a ton of pills, goes to the hospital for emergencies like children's ear infections, asthma. Humanity's natural immune systems are shot due to over vaccanations, anti-biotics, chlorine bleach over used etc. I'm not saying that stuff in itself is bad, but how many people have been over using the stuff, replacing it with nature's way of healing our own bodies.
Not to mention 1/2 the country is over weight and hooked on loads of sugar and carbs. I had to get rid of the high intake of carbs and sugar in MY diet, and it took months to feel any sense of normalcy. I was emotional, depressed, felt sick like the flu, couldn't function, couldn't THINK straight. i still have cravings for sugar but put just some of those problems on a person, not to mention they can't get their medicane, they don't have food or water to sustain them.
There will be crazy people running around, shooting each other, strangling and throwing people into human bomb fires to get at each other's belongings. No man or animal will be safe. You better have hands guns and lots of bullets.
The first week people will stay in their homes, afraid and living off their weekly grocieries. But the second week, buildings will burn, people will start to be raped and murdered, and gangs will form.
Third week anyone who was going to get out of the city better have left. Stores will have been ransaked, medicanes in pharmacies will be gone, people who haven't died from their disease and lack of medical care who have no stores will start dieing or being murdered by gans.

Shoot, have you ever waited in line at a grocery store or at a fast food rest. ? People are MEAN when they don't get what they want. People would rather run you down on the highway then get over to let you on the entrance....People are not good at heart, they are evil (as the bible says)it is the thin invisable haze of Godly people and obedience to societies rules that makes life on this earth NOT a hell on earth.
By the 4th week, lines will be drawn. There will be small settlements (Jericho like) of church people who have prepared. These are the smart church people who believe in protecting their own with guns, the Amish will be sheep to the slaughter though.

By the second month, rotting corpses will litter the streets the ransacked buildings. There won't be a lot of rape or murder at this point, because your sickies and fatties will be dead or killed, your old people and children will be dead because only the strong survive and without medicane, hospitals, doctors what has been keeping the weaklings alive will be long long gone, medcanes will have run out. Most people don't have more then a month of their life saving medicane in storage to keep them alive. Diabetics will be dead due to SHOCK to their systems, no insulin etc.

Third month, you have survived. You have food storage, you have medicane, maybe some of your family has died due to the above description, but YOU must stay alive to keep the rest strong and alive.
I still don't think it will be safe to start ransacking homes. There will still be wild animals (human and not) running around, with guns, going from meal to meal struggling for life. Hopefully YOU have at least 6 months of food and stored water to stay in your home that long.

At six months gangs will still exist, but many of them will have killed each other. Many homes, stores and warehouses will have been ransacked BUT, if your food stores are running out, I believe you might risk going to neighbors homes and start looking (loaded down with guns of course). Things like batteries, flashlights, ammo, guns of the dead are going to be important. You better have a wood burner because winter is either here or around the corner again. You should be always cutting wood, maybe find some wood to steal from dead people.
Finding food stores will be the most important, and seeds for gardening. Maybe you can find some farming tools, tractor of a farmer who for some reason didn't survive. Heck, I might move to a farm with my family, if I could get them to it.

A lot depends on if you have gas to move from place to place, we have trucks to load down stuff in, but you will need something else if you don't have gas or means of transportation. (emp bomb). If you don't have electricity, how you cook your food is going to matter. Cooking it outside on the grill is going to alert any living animal or human within a mile of you.

So much to think about. I have watched quite a few end of the days type movies. I can actually see something like it happening due to emp bombs, spread of plague, or a nuke. The collapse of the dollar or our government....will just be a short hiccup, there will be riots, deaths due to idiots fighting our police and army and then a new government or dollar will rise from the ashes, (a few thousand may have died), and then the anti-Christ like figue will join the world in a one world government.

Regardless, you need at least 6 months of food for those whom you love, children, family, extended family, neighbors and your pets. Just do it, it doesn't cost that much. Stfu and do it. Rice and tomato juice will keep you alive for a long time, grow some tomato plants and learn to can the easiest veggie on the planet. Rice you can get in 10 lb bags. Dehydrate some veggies for flavoring, buy some beans and some flour, learn how to make a stew, bake your own bread, and just stfu and do it. It's not hard. The hard part is water. You gotta figure that out on your own.
