What this article neglects to mention is that it may be a scenario the preppers didn't prep for that happens.
What if an asteroid hits and wipes out all of your prepped stock?
Or an ice age comes and freezes everything?
How about all the criminals who know you stocked up and want to take what you have?
Eventually you will be out of stock then what?
I'm not saying prepping isn't a good idea but you cannot prep for everything that could go wrong.
Considering the government has already passed the bill to confiscate your stock how long do you think you'll be able to keep it?
Personally I hope that whatever happens hits us so quick that we never felt it coming.

When I first started doing my "inner-prepping" (Mostly Sedona Method) I did purchase some extra food, but as I continued working on my mind as the source of all my fears, my courage level went up and I came more into the Now, into present time, dropped some delusions, such as the ones you mention. I'm not out of the woods altogether, but I see that the best way to prep is to be in the now moment to moment; close the gap as much as possible between your self identity and who you really are as a spiritual being -- who just happens to have a body to play a game with.
