Man survives Niagara Falls plunge
A MAN has plunged at least 54m over Niagara Falls and survived - only the third person known to have gone over without a safety device and live.

Niagara Parks Police say witnesses reported seeing the man climb over a railing and "deliberately jump" into the Niagara River up to 9m above the Horseshoe Falls.

He surfaced in the lower Niagara River basin near the Journey Behind the Falls observation platform.

Horseshoe Falls, on the Canadian side of the river, is the tallest of the three main falls, higher than the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls...

yep...that was crazy. He was trying to kill himself :( Can't say this isn't the first time. Why the falls man? I mean your body is gonna get all fucked up by the rocks. This man survived. A hard lesson learned...

The vibration of the falls tingles your eardrums, makes the ears damp.


I think the pounding of the falling water alone would be enough to knock you out, not to mention the huge jagged rocks below.


If he had ridden the current and gone directly over the ledge of the falls, he wouldn't be alive.
