But knowing that you could lose that character you spent 20, 40, 80 hours on, forever, really makes the game exciting. So yes, softcore is boring. If that's all there was D3 wouldn't be any fun. But Hardcore is a totally different experience that is unique in the gaming world. Currently I have a 23 barbarian in hardcore. Wish me luck. ;) baba jjang~~~~^^;; Last Edited by KonspiracyKitty on 05/22/2012 03:57 AM |

I killed Diablo and finished the game on normal mode only to restart the the game on nightmare mode? I just finished it and now i have to play it all over again on a harder mode? Wtf? Quoting: Loadz There's no city to lounge around and show off your gear or whatever. There's no battle grounds. Theres no mounts. All Barbarians / Monks/ Wizards / Witchdoctors look the same. Whats the point? Is this game made for sheep or what?? All you do is walk around and click on monsters to attack them. Thats it! No tactics except for dont stand in the fire? I dont see the reason for the hype. If im missing something please explain. I would ask the same question about WoW if I only got to lvl 20 Whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. |

For example I have a wizard and he is easy to kill so I have to use my skills to freeze enemies or diomond skin myself and surround myself with exploding orbs and other defensive spells. You can lure enemies into traps and hazards in the levels. You can lure enemies into doorways or shoot down at them from ledges and use the environment to your advantage. My only complaint is that the servers were down most of the day it was released and that the servers are down right now for 5 hours of maintenance. The fact that there is no offline mode is considerably irritating but I see that it is necessary to prevent hackers from undermining the mini economy they are trying to build with the diablo auction house. I was a huge fan of diablo I and II and I played some games over the years to fill the void like balders gate dark alliance or marvel ultimate alliance but nothing was as good as diablo. This game is everything diablo II did right and then polished with excellent graphics and all sorts of streamlining features and a great user interface. If my internet connection wasnt so shitty, the multiplayer would be great. drop in drop out anytime gameplay is fantastic. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 5690409 Canada 05/22/2012 09:32 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Best Diablo so far... Imo WAY better then WoW or any mmo or rpg at the moment... Finishing all the game even the newer Inferno mode is sure to be really challenging even for the most Hardcore players. Also the storyline is really well divided in 4 acts with tons of quests that take about 3 hours per act to complete so it really feels huge compared to D2... Also the first time since dozen of years that there is no hackers, abusers, gold duping, mule, etc. Blizz is really trying hard to make sure it's fair for everyone and that you will have to work your ass to get good gear. And also the end-game is about pvp, which is new in D3 but you will be able to test your skills agaisnt other players like 2v2 arena style.. can't wait to see how blizz implent this Only thing I'm a bit disapointed is the lvl60 max just like in WoW, when it used to be lvl99 you could reach in Diablo... |
