It’s not really your stomach that’s empty but your head and heart. If you add a wise thought or a loving feeling to each mouthful, a quarter of a loaf contains enough salt to nourish you for a long time.’
Was the Master really telling us to make do with just a quarter of a loaf of bread a day? No, he simply wanted us to understand that quality is more important than quantity as far as nutrition is concerned. But true quality is hard to find; it’s not supplied in any shop. Quality is a spiritual element which must come from us. We must eat sufficient food, and it must be healthy, but it’s our job to add an element from ourselves to the simplest of food to give it flavour, for this flavour will be a source of energy and plenitude." |

Really, nobody. Please preach somewhere else. Beyond good and evil anything is possible. |

I used to cook a 500g steak and yeah thats a chore to eat and enjoy, I used to cook a huge 500g salmon fillet, I used to cook a whole duck breast for each person. Now I buy the best quality smaller steak, the best quality salmon and cut it into 110g portions, one duck breast serves 3 sliced thinly. with the right accompaniment and the right sentiment and feeling of love and warmth and passion in cooking every cooking session is an event... the build up... the expectation... the excitement. every mouthful is a meal, every meal is a feast and every BODY is nourished. |
