I can't even begin to list off the problems with this, the sheer fact it was thrown away made it garbage and therefor can't be counted as stolen, the most they could say is it was trespassing. That isn't even getting into the ridiculous claims being made about the danger level.

What about the doctor that was arrested drunk-driving with thousands of dollars in cash who spit blood at the cops? Does he work at the same hospital the equipment was stolen from?

And was it in fact actually "stolen"? Did someone working AT the hospital sell it for scrap and blame it on thieves? Curious... so odd something like this could be stolen without help of officials, anyway.

To add another thought to that - if the doc stole the equipment maybe he didnt realize there was that kind of a biohazard. Hearing about it later, he may have grown paranoid. Hence the drinking, speeding, spitting blood. Trying to contaminate others since he feels contaminated? (Whether its all in his head or not.)

There has been no reporting on the missing equipment or the face eater in florida - but george zimmerman is back in jail (who cares). Btw prions are not killed by anything! Sterilazation doesn't help. Heat, chemicals, nothing is kills a prion because its not alive. They were trying to calm fears in the original story. Also how do u think people would feel about going to the hospital with an infectious disease that can't be steralized against and there is no treatment for. Scary situation.
