And that’s the entire point of what he is saying – you’re absolutely meant to think that the money printing (inflation) has/will come to an end, in fact that’s pretty much been the conversation from all central banks for the past 3 months, namely that the money printing might have ended – and hence the jitteryness in the gold market over they same time period.

But as we’ve said time-and-again this is what they have to do, they have to pretend that they might not print any more, they have to make you believe that they might not print.

But why? Paradoxically it is this action (pretending that they wont print again) that allows them to do exactly that, print. This phenomena was well understood by one of the greatest economists from the past century that hardly anyone has heard of, let alone read, Ludwig von Mises.
