I must say, that explanation fits that slide quite well. What about the symbol above the yoked mans? Why the horns? Also as you see in all the pictures they have crowns, but I have yet to figure out the exact meaning to this.

Since it tends to be the Above, it is symbolizing royalty, heavenly bodies, or something of the likes? The crown chakra, the Tree of life?

Here I believe you have Isis who is now the guardian and also the left eye of Horus atop to the Double Lions with what appears to be a Leopard Head in the middle as well.

The left eye of Horus and Isis are significant as well for they do NOT represent the light. His left eye was black and the right of Horus would be white and represented the sun.
