As a gay man - I have a question...what's with all the hate?

Heterosexuals flaunt holding hands, kissing and hugging in public. I see no reason for a double standard. Frankly I could less if anyone is offended by low key PDA.

What if a gay man has a lot of straight guy friends who talk about all the tight poosy they get. It should be ok for the gay to talk about the fat tubesteak he gets as well. Fair is fair. It's ironic. All of my straight (tolerant) male/female friends are either dating or married to people that I or my gay friends have introduced them to.

Hump your bible as much as you want, but don't force your religion on other people. Let others do what they want as long as it isn't harming others, and you will be fine. If a male wants to have sex with a male, or if a female wants to have sex with a female, let them do it as long as it isn't harming you. I highly doubt it is harming anyone at all because gays are having sex. People are going to do what they want, and you have no say on whether or not it is right.

I have no hate. . . The world is unique in many ways and would be a completely boring existance if everyone were the same. . . To each his own, what an individual does or prefers (within the law) is nobodies business but their own.

in a nutshell those on here that hate are religious, those that don't are not.

Probably the same as all the other kinds of hate people feel the need to express. Gays are certainly not the only group subjected to negative posts.

race hate, sex hate, whatever, is all a diversion for the masses so they don't look too deep into the fallacy that is their lives. emotions are easy to control, and hate is an easy emotion to evoke from people.

and the reason it is easy to evoke? because humans have been ingrained to believe it is "a sin", "an abomination", etc. and most gays have been taught they are supposed to either a)hide in shame or b) be annoying flamboyant pains in the asses.

anyway, i could care less who is sleeping with who, loving who, supporting who, etc. IT IS PROPAGANDA from every which way. stop caring and it will stop existing.

I hate being approached by gay people.. IDK why, but when in castroish areas, I get asked if I'm gay a lot.

If you haven't noticed, hate is addictive. It makes people feel superior, self-righteous, and more important/special than others.

But I must question...what was the point in informing us of your sexual orientation if you say that you usually don't even mention your orientation in public to others? That was a doorway that you left wide-open for no particular reason other than to flag yourself. By doing this, you will be attacked simply for the sake of the attack itself.

Your orientation isn't important and it certainly is NOT who you are. It is what YOU DO...a physical act, nothing more. I am not a hetero/homo/or of the bi orientation...I am of the HUMAN persuasion. My private activities are JUST THAT. I believe that too many people get hung up on labels and plights because they're all too convenient and are in far too big of a rush to define themselves so that they fit in with a group or demographic. A soul is Universally infinite, only a small mind would attempt to judge or label something of that magnitude with tiny words of categorization. -And no, I'm not claiming you have a small mind...I was making a general statement about the general tendency for humans to identify with others.

Drop the gay label. If the word had never existed...then what would you be?

Why do gays always talk about animals being gay? Animals are not gay unless they literally don't get aroused by female hormones which is never the case. They simply don't know any better sometimes than to try to mate with the wrong gender. Their IQs are not exactly through the roof.
It just irks me that animals are always brought up, it seems creepy to me and another form of -in-your-face pride.

I have no problems with gays, I have many gay friends who I love, but some of you really do seem like you're prowling for straight men or trying to promote your agenda/recruit lonely straight men. That's what annoys people. And I see you added that "you'd never know I was gay" which is a subtle hint at something as well, you didn't need to give that info either, totally irrelevant to your (supposed) point. Trying to make gayness more "regular" and accepted is just a way to try to recruit more men, because some actually do choose to become gay out of bad luck with women. I think most are born gay, but many gays try to recruit straight men down on their luck with women.

I think gays like GLP because they sense a lot of lonely straight men here. Just my two cents. Otherwise, why all the constant gay threads and all the posts by gay men talking about how disgusting vaginas are, etc?

And why is promiscuity something to be proud of? Gay men should be ashamed of their reputation for sex with strangers. To the men in loving relationships with one another, this does not apply, but my gay friend who is almost 40 is fed up with how many gay men just want to use him for sex, or money or whatever, he can't find a nice, monogamous man to save his life.

The gay culture is known for sex in public bathrooms, bathhouses, glory holes, etc. The very idea of sex with a stranger is repulsive to me, yet this lifestyle is often coveted by gay men. So, it's not like gay men inspire respect that way.
