I think that every person has the right to be who he wants to be.
The hate probably comes from people who are insecure and judgmental about everything that is not "themselves"

Although we have the Gay Pride in the Netherlands and I can see why some people object to this.
I for one can't bear to see more than half naked man dancing on boats, but if the Gay Pride is in town I stay away from this place so I won't have to see it.
